Overview
A gondola ride accompanied by Italian ballads is an iconic Venetian experience—especially for lovers. But arranging a gondola and musicians independently is expensive. Save money but preserve the romance with this shared Venice gondola package that includes dinner (in summer) and a choice of lunch or dinner (in winter) at the Hostaria Ai Coristi restaurant.
Highlights
  • Share a gondola ride down the Grand Canal—and smaller canals
  • Feel the romance as a musician and singer serenade your group of gondolas
  • Savor a two-course Italian meal with water, coffee, and a glass of wine
  • Soak up the atmosphere on a signature Venetian experience
What to Expect
Make your own way to the launch point on the Grand Canal, and board your traditional six-person gondola. Feel the romance as your gondolier navigates the boat in a small group, passing by ancient homes, churches, and palazzos. As you glide under bridges and past charming backstreets, an opera singer and musician will serenade your group with classic Italian ballads from one of the gondolas. After you disembark, savor your two-course Italian meal at the Hostaria Ai Coristi. The package includes a meat or fish entrée, a glass of house wine, mineral water, and coffee. Dinner is served 7–9pm; during winter, you can also opt for lunch, served before your ride at 12–3pm. Once you’re done eating, make your own way back to base.

We booked a number of tours while in Venice and Rome this week and this was the worst. The people at the launch point for the gondola were rude and not helpful. There was also no one serenading in our boat, it was a guy in one of the eight boats that were floating around

Gondola ride was fun. Although we were a group of boats, with only one singer, it didn’t bother us at all! We had to find our way to the Restaurant, but we asked people for guidance. Not an issue. Then the Restaurant. It was spectacular. The owner/manager made us feel extremely

I wished I had read the reviews before we book this, this was the worst experience in Venice ever. We arrived to our tour and was greeted by one on the rudest tour guides I have ever met, he didn't try to speak to us or look at our tour voucher. Instead he snatched the voucher
