The long lines that St. Mark’s Basilica (Basilica of San Marco) attract are a testament to its popularity. Save hours of precious vacation time on a skip-the-line tour of Venice's famous cathedral. Inside, a guide reveals details that you may have missed if exploring independently, and provides commentary that brings the landmark’s rich history to life. Plus, your admission ticket includes access to the Golden Pall, too.
What to Expect

Greet your guide at a central Venice location at the departure time chosen at checkout. Please note your guide is multilingual, and this tour is bilingual.

With your skip-the-line admission ticket, bypass long lines often in excess of two hours and head straight inside the world-famous cathedral, St. Mark’s Basilica.

Alongside your guide, admire intricate Italo-Byzantine architecture characterized by golden mosaics. Visit the remains of St. Mark, and marvel at the Golden Pall, considered one of the most valuable objects in the world.

After your tour concludes, you can remain inside St. Mark’s Basilica to explore further if you'd like.

Dear Hamid T, first of all, please note that the entrance to St. Mark's Basilica is always free of charge... Of course, guided visits are not free, but the price is clearly specified online and the choice to reserve a tour a tour or visit...More

Definitely use skip the lines for this Basilica depending on when you go. If winter time, you don’t need it.

Plus it’s cheaper to do the tour vs paying individually for each exhibit. While we did the tour in winter we didn’t know any better. The lines during winter were short but the extras made worthwhile.

Best option to see St mark's

Very nice and knowledgeable guide, patient with a group that included children, in a time where the basilica was very crowded. Can't recommend it more

We decided to opt for the guide tour, not just to skip the queue but to add some depth and learning. We joined a small group of six, the guide was very knowledgeable as to the history of the basilica and her English was excellent....More

We only booked the skip the line portion which only gets you a reserved time to enter. The church itself is free, but there are very long lines. The tour is self guided, but there are other attractions to see once inside... More
