A unique, magical experience. To listen to the Quartet of gifted singers, in a glorious church, in the heart of Rome was extremely special.
Lorenzo explained the history of the Church, Art and the Capuchin Monks, which was fascinating.
We would also highly recommend booking the dinner after the concert. Fantastic food and service in the Terrazza Borromini Restaurant in the heart of the city. Even a taxi to the restaurant was included in the price.
Paola went out of her way to make my husband's birthday a truly memorable experience.

The beautiful voices of this small a cappella group were magnified in Santa Maria Concezione. Baroque churches can be overwhelming, but this church provided both a dramatic backdrop and great acoustics. It was a perfect setting for their 15th-17th century repertoire. The music was the primary attraction for me, but the visit following the concert to museum of the Capuchins and the Capuchin crypt was also illuminating. :-) Caravaggio’s St. Francis was a highlight, Thank you Paolo and friends!

Apart from St Peter’s Dome this was our most memorable experience. Don’t waste money on a tour just use the audio sets and go at your own pace. Also ladies must cover their shoulders as it’s a Holy Shrine.
Interesting background story and the small Crypts are unforgettable, it’s amazing what one person can do with human bones. My non Catholic husband was a bit freaked out but that’s history for you!
No photos allowed but I did get a sneaky one (Confession this Saturday beckons!)

The quartet of singers were excellent and very enjoyable. 5☆☆☆☆☆
The guide Lorenzo must have been eager to get home for dinner.
Lovely museum, very interesting crypt, shame we missed half of it.
I could see in museum lots of artifacts with information cards to read but missed most of it as was ushered along too quick.
Missed the last crypt also.
Went back to view some things in museum and see last crypt and got ushered out at 6:40pm, closes 7pm ?
I paid €120 and totally disappointed with it.
I hope they read this and act on it.

Dear Lloyd, I'm Paola from Roma Opera Omnia. Thank you for reaching us with your comment. I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed the concert: it was a pleasure to sing for you! However I would like to clarify something you reported. First of all the price of € 120 is for two people. So you paid €60 per person. The ticket includes: the entrance ticket to the museum, the heaadphones, the guided tour of church, museum & Crypt by a professional guide, the exclusive concert inside the church of Santa Maria Immacolata reserved just for our guests. Second of all I would like to remind you that you were welcome with the best attention by me and the guide Lorenzo and he helped you. He personally took you to the restroom inside the museum before the event (it was an exception, as you can only enter the museum during the guided tour). Then upon returning from the toilet you discovered that you had lost your museum ticket and Lorenzo came back and found it for you, instead of charging you for the entrance ticket again as required by the museum policy. Third of all about the guided tour. The concert in the Church ended at 5:55 pm, then we started the guided tour in the museum at 6 p.m. The museum contains hundreds of historical finds and paintings so, as all the guided tours, we offer a wide selection of it, that rapresents the history of the Capuchin Order. Despite the high number of groups inside the museum,  Lorenzo managed the situation and you were able to enjoy every hall of the museum, without crossing the loud noise of big groups. You remained for long time in front of the masterpiece of Caravaggio and inside the Crypt, longer than any other guided tour of the evening. The problem was that you broke away from the group without saying anything to the guide and went back to the chapels alone. The museum staff informed you that it was almost closing time and that you could not walk around the museum by yourself. If you had asked your guide Lorenzo to be able to review something in the museum he would have accompanied you on pleasure. So I take this opportunity to tell our guests again " Please ask our staff if you have any needs or wishes" We are there to make your experience the best it can be. Paola

I thought I was just there for a small concert, and didn't expect the guided tour in a small group. It was well done, and made the experience so much better! The singers were wonderful, and the music quite appropriate for the venue.

I highly recommend the experience to anyone who is interested in history and music, or to anyone who is just curious by nature! Our guides were both knowledgeable and professional, and did a very good job explaining the history of the Capuchin order and the beliefs. Music was well chosen and acoustics were great! Bravissimo!

Great combination of guided tour through the Capuchin Crypts and Museum with Caravaggio of St Francis, with wonderful concert by the Schola Romana singers. Music by the most famous composers of the time, including Palestrina, transparently performed by this quartet, in the lovely St Maria Immacolata church: everything falls into place. The quietly sung Sicut servus was particularly moving.

This was perhaps the most unique experience we had during our trip to Italy. The museum is small but contains interesting items to see including a beautiful painting that may be a Caravaggio. The ossuary was simply astounding. To see human bones arranged in artful designs and even crafted into chandeliers will set your mind to meditate on the meaning of life and death. It calls to mind the old Latin saying "ars longa, vita brevis" - art is long, life is short. As if to emphasize that point, the tour of the crypt is followed by an excellent performance of Renaissance and baroque sacred music by the Schola Romana Ensemble. I am a professional musician who specializes in early music. The concert is worth the price of entrance. This group is fantastic. If you want to do something a little different without all of the crowds of tourists, I highly recommend this experience.

Due to the rainy forcast I booked the visit of the crypts. Our guide Monika was very nice and she knows a lot, unfortunately we were quite big group so it was not easy to hear and move around. Esspecilay in the crypts. It woild be nice to have a few more moments also in the museum since there is an interesting exposition. The concert was nice and the ambient made it even more special.
