Great tour! However, guide was a little quick and kept walking without looking to see if her whole tour was with her. There was one instance where we were separated due to a school group coming and security holding 4 of us from joining the group. Our guide never noticed and we had to catch up to her. That was a small negative, she was very good about asking if we wanted more time to look at things and after seeing the Sistine Chapel she took us to St Peter's Basilica that you must have a guide to enter with.

Francesco was our tour guide and he was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. He had a great excitement for the art and a wonderful spirit. The company however… they had us meet all at once at their small tour office. Hundreds of people going on many different tours. It was chaotic and it took about an hour from when we got to the tour company to when we were actually in a museum. That was disappointing. I would still book this again because our tour guide was really inspirational.

Had an amazing experience. Me and my friend had the early tour ( entering at 8a.m.). Claudia was a very nice guide, provided us with a lot of interesting information. It is worth it. Big thanks to the guy from London- Shuvo who helped us get the best price just a day before the tour.

I filtered Trip Advisor and signed up for a tour to include St. Peter’s Basilica with a Vatican museum / Sistine Chapel group tour. However, the actual tour completely dropped St. Peter’s from the agenda and the guide exited the group prior to the Sistine Chapel, telling us we could walk over to St. Peter’s on our own, but did not care enough to inform us that St. Peter’s was closed by the time our tour was ending. So, we had no guided tour of St. Peter’s, and we had to come back and guess about that important monument on our own the next day. There are some tour guides who are wells of interesting knowledge, but this tour was so-so. Our friends who we hosted were somewhat disappointed that they had to pay so much for this.

Thank you for reviewing, We would like to clarify that we do not include the Basilica in the tour because the passage that connects Sistine Chapel with Basilica is not always open and it has been closed for covid reasons for a long time: this is why we ask our guides to provide information on how to reach it on your own. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not match your expectations!

The Vatican City surpassed expectations, the artwork & beauty of the place are amazing. Francesco our guide explained the history with great passion & humour. The genius & creativity of these people hundreds of years ago is astounding.

AMAZING 10/10!!!!
Vatican Tour!!
We took a guided tour of the Vatican Museums. Our Experience was Great!!! Our tour guide, Azzurra, was well spoken, highly informed, and personable. We were given an in depth review of the highlights of the Vatican museums, and Sistine Chapel. Her extensive knowledge as an archeologist made for a very interesting tour! She spoke to her audience, making references to everyone’s cultures, to have us better understand what she was explaining to us! Our tour was enhanced with close up pictures of what we were seeing, and handouts of the paintings inside the Sistine Chapel. Not one question went unanswered, as each revived a thorough, and in-depth answer. She also interacted in a fun way with the children on the tour, in order to keep there attention! As tourists unfamiliar to the area, she offered us suggestions and recommendations on activities, restaurants, and lodging! Our visit to the Vatican was only enhanced by this tour, as we got to skip the nearly 5 hour lines, through the verified tour companies line. We also realized that without a tour guide, the Vatican would of been a quick walk through rather than an actual experience. We would highly recommend Colosseum and Vatican Tours By Italy Wonders to anyone visiting, and would suggest that you request Azzurra to guide your tour!!!

We had an excellent tour with Fabio today. He was knowledgeable, fun and engaging. The tour was over three hours and was at the perfect level of detail for our family. Do be advised that it was incredibly crowded and hot during the tour (not the fault of the tour), but we did have to wait in some group tour lines which weren’t nearly as long as the lines if you were to walk up on your own. Fabio maximized time in line by giving us a great background while we were waiting. Highly recommend the tour with Fabio!

Diego, our guide, made this tour the highlight of our Rome vacation. His commentary was relevant and informative, seemingly endless knowledge of the artwork, tapestries, Christian and pagan history. He thoroughly regaled us with stories and historic details of the papacy, including timelines of concurrent events. Diego was entertaining and patient with our group. This tour was absolutely worth the fee!!

Our family of four, with two teenagers, loved going on two tours with Laura. One afternoon at the Vatican and another afternoon at the Colosseum/Palantine Hill. Answered all of our million questions; never pushed us along while letting us veer off course to see different items of interest; brought lots of books and pictures to supplement the talks; and, gave us plenty of suggestions and advice for the rest of the trip! Easy to arrange for tour. Recommend Laura!

Did the tour with a friend, with Laura Antonucci as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and was happy to answer any questions. Definitely worth the money to do the tour as it was even worth it to skip the huge lines to get in. Happy with the experience and would recommend!
