Small-Group Pompeii with Amalfi Coast Drive and Positano Stop from Rome

Overview
Pack two of Italy’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites—the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii—into one day on a tour that includes easy round-trip transport from Rome. Your guide knows the best ways to get around Italy and keep you safe when driving along the twisty, hard-to-navigate roads of the Amalfi Coast, leaving you free to focus on the scenery rather than the roads.
What to Expect
Your Pompeii and Amalfi Coast tour picks you up from central Rome. Hop aboard a climate-controlled vehicle, and get ready for the ride to your first stop of the day—Pompeii.

Once you get to the ancient Roman city, meet up with your guide and learn all about the history yourself as you follow your guide around the ancient ruins.

Afterward, your guide takes you down the roads of the Amalfi Coast on a beautiful vista drive. Your guide is an expert navigator, and heads down the roads easily even with the hairpin turns. Your group stops in Positano, where you can enjoy free time wandering the area. You can eat lunch while you’re there if you choose (own expense).

Your Pompeii and Amalfi Coast tour ends with a ride back to where you started the day in Rome.

Blew my mind!

This tour is well worth the money, you are picked up in a comfortable bus from central Rome ( not your hotel). Pompeii was fantastic and very interesting. Plenty f time was given for pictures and to look at things. The driver was very skilled...More

Wow! Our best day trip!

We did several different day trips during our time in Italy, which ended up being through all different companies (booked through Viator). However, Walks of Italy hit the ball out of the park with our small-group Pompeii/Amalfi Coast trip. Our guide, Cosimo, was excellent! He...More

Informative and Beautuful

My wife and I booked this tour before leaving for our trip. We weren’t sure what to expect as we knew we wanted to see both the Amalfi coast and Pompeii. Given our limited number of days in Rome, we decided on the all-day excursion...More

Perfect Way to See Pompeii

I was extremely pleased with this tour. Raffaella was the perfect host, she kept us informed of logistics and what we were seeing, but didn't engage in the mindless chatter like so many of these bus hosts will do. She had the entire day down...More

Doubt it, as it is a different tour every day and wouldn't imagine they have spare seats to bring people back. Check with the tour operator.

At least 3 hours but you have to move and not stop at every single thing. Some sites have long lines that take up time to get in. Not like Vatican type of lines, but you can waste a good 20 min. If you get there early you... More
