The Vatican Museum, home to Raphael’s Rooms and the world-famous Sistine Chapel, is one of Italy’s most popular attractions: the crowds it attracts pay testament to its popularity. Explore Renaissance masterpieces at your leisure on this exclusive VIP tour, which avoids the crowds by using its own private entranceway. You’ll be free to take in the incredible wall paintings without spending the day in line.

What to Expect

In Vatican City, get ready to pass by the crowds outside the museum with VIP admission tickets. You’ll pass through your own reserved entranceway and once inside, you’ll have lots of time to explore nine miles (14km) of art-filled galleries.

Savor masterpieces in rooms like the Gallery of the Candelabra, which is lined with elegantly carved marble sculptures and candle-holders. You’ll also be free to wander at leisure through Raphael’s Rooms, four interconnecting galleries that are hung with paintings from the famous Renaissance master and his pupils. Enrich your knowledge of Italian geography in the Gallery of Maps, where you’ll find 16th-century plans of Italy.

The best is saved for last. The final part of the museum complex is the blockbuster Sistine Chapel, which most people wait in line for hours to see. With special access to the museum, you’ll skip to the front of the crowds to see the legendary 15th-century chapel. With an optional upgrade, you can opt to explore the galleries with a guide.

Beware Cesar!

Extremely unclear directions, totally unhelpful. Mind you there is fine print, which is very hard to follow when traveling. We had to pay again and the "greeters" for this TripAdvisor affiliate were totally unhelpful.More

Well worth the money

I’ve now done this tour twice and when I go back I will do it again as there is so much to see and learn it’s impossible to do it all in one tour, if you just turn up and join the 3 hour wait...More

Breeze through the queue

Purchased just the fast track tickets and met at the steps. We met our guide and was taken straight pass the enormous queue outside. Couldn't ask for much more.

We were on a tour booked from our hotel and had a guide. We went straight into the Basilica during our tour.
