Meet your bilingual guide at 10am at the Valencia School of Rice and Paella, and walk together to Central Market for a guided tour. Spend approximately one hour exploring this bustling market and collecting the necessary ingredients for your recipe. A hub of Valencia agriculture, the best quality ingredients for paella can be found here. Around 11am, return to the kitchen and learn the process of cooking a real Valencia Paella (the original Paella), which you will then cook for yourself.
Relax and have fun as you cook with your group and learn from an expert chef about the makings of an authentic Paella. During the cooking process, indulge in a tasting of Valencia white wine served with a traditional appetizer. Once finished cooking the paella, sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Complement your meal with a taste of Valencia red wine. The paella will be served accompanied by several starters and a traditional and delicious dessert.
Upon completion of the experience, you will receive a diploma certifying your new cooking skills. Experience ends at the cooking school at approximately 2:30pm.
