Enjoy a totally unique family experience with this dragon tour of Barcelona. Over the course of 2.5 hours, explore the streets of Barrio Gótico, following your guide’s clues as you search for the many dragons hidden in the architecture of the city’s oldest buildings. Discover the cultural ideas behind this powerful mythical creature. Children lead the way on this creative scavenger hunt.

What to Expect
Barcelona is full of dragons, watching from the gargoyles of the old buildings. More than a thousand of them are hiding in the facades, the streets and the squares of the city. On this tour, you'll learn about the symbology and history of the dragon. You'll also come in contact with different cultural attitudes towards dragons.

Become investigators and follow a scavenger hunt through the Old Town to find the dragons of Barcelona and uncover their legends. Your children will play the leading role in this adventure, designed to awaken their imagination, and inspire them to explore.

Additionally, you will uncover the answers to many other mysteries on this interactive tour. Venture into the Born/La Ribera area and discover, for instance, why there's half a house left standing in the middle of the Born area? Was the Hangman Occupation in the Middle Ages a respected profession? How many geese live in the cloister of the Cathedral and why? All information provided will be age appropriate and subject to parents' approval.

A great day for the kids

Ana is phenomenal. She keeps the kids completely engaged and has lots of fun stories, props, pictures, booklets - I don't know how she manages to keep it all in her bag. The kids will never think of dragons the same way again.More
