Overview

Enhance your experience of Barcelona and gain insight into Catalonia’s culinary scene on this private 2-hour tapas and wine tasting tour. Ideal for gastronomes, this tour takes you on the road less travelled, to four tapas joints favored by local residents. At each eatery, you'll sample handpicked Catalonian wine and complementary tapas, and reveals the culinary culture and history of the city. Receive undivided attention from your guide on this private tour.

What to Expect

Your private tour starts at the entrance of the Els Tres Tombs, located on Ronda de Sant Antoni. Here, you’ll greet your guide and head to the first of your tapas and wine tasting destinations — your guide has handpicked each place in order to showcase local life in Barcelona.

Over the course of two hours, you’ll sample four glasses of wine and four tapas in four different locations. Educate your palate to recognize the dry notes of Ros Marina White wine and savor the spicy nuances of red wine made using grapes from the Tempranillo region.

Typical tapas could include montaditos, miniature sandwiches filled with cheese and cured meat, or unique combinations including chicken and raspberry. Your tour concludes at your final tasting location in central Barcelona.

I don’t think so. I don’t recall seeing any children at the places we visited. The focus of the tour is pairing tapas with wine, and the tapas themselves at most places weren’t what I’d consider kid friendly from a flavor... More
