Private tour of Jewish Quarter
Jun 2021
We visited Barcelona as Spain started opening up post covid. A few places were still closed (for example the Synagogue) but we met Dina and walked around and had a wonderful time. Dina is very knowledgeable and likeable. It was a pleasure to have her as our guide.
Michal was very responsive and patient and helped me work around our schedule to figure out timing for the tour.

Excellent tour with Dina
Despite the cold and windy weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Jewish quarter with Dina. She was friendly, informative, knowledgeable and very interesting. Thank you Dina!

We went on three tours in Barcelona. The other two were fabulous! This one was extremely boring. Our tour guide kept showing us pictures and talking for 30 minutes at a time. I told her we would like to see more and have less talking but she didn’t seem to care what we wanted. It was a waste of time and money.

I am so sorry to hear about your negative experience - especially when the other two were such great tour experiences. We will definitely speak to the guide and try to understand what happened and perhaps she misunderstood the situation. In any case, we will do what we can to prevent this from happening again. It is our goal to ensure our tours are interesting, enlightening, and fun. Thank you for your feedback to help us improve our services.

Wonderful And Informative Tour
My wife and I, Plung with out three children ranging from 20-27 years old took the Jewish Tour with Theresa. We had a wonderful time. Theresa was very informative, articulate and fun to be with. If your language is English, she spoke it like a native.

Not only was the tour excellent but she also was able to answer all the questions we had. She also points out when the things she told us were definite vs when most people think something but it’s not 100% verified.

If you have an interest in the history of the Jewish people in Spain then this tour is definitely for you. I highly recommend it as all in my family enjoyed both the tour and Theresa. Highly recommended!

Ok Tour
Nov 2019
I think it's important to request someone who lives locally in Barcelona and understands the culture and history from experience. Our tour guide was a nice person but we felt a lacking in his ability to communicate information and sad that he was not local. We also were freezing cold and felt that we could have stopped and talked in different places than in the cold stone shade.

Wonderful Tour!
Oct 2019
We really enjoyed this fabulous tour. The history and small details were phenomenal. Things you would never know, notice, or find if you were on your own. From the Hebrew inscriptions in certain wall stones to the ancient mikvah at the back of a modern furniture store, this tour was a wonderful experience.

Must Do When in Barcelona
Nov 2019
This was a wonderful tour. Our guide Adi was friendly and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Barcelona's history, both Jewish and non. The places we visited we never would have known about without this tour.. Ir was also a great break from the other crowded sights of Barcelona. I highly recommend this tour!

Tour with Adi Mahler
Oct 2019
We found Adi an extremely knowledgeable guide (what we had requested) who was able to answer all of our many questions. In addition, he happens to be amiable, good-humored, and friendly, person. He shared historical and current aspects of Jewish life in Barcelona and Spain in general, which we very much appreciated. We learned a good deal and found it was well worth it.

Amazing tour
Mar 2019
We lucked out as the only folks on the tour. We got to ask lots of questions, have a fabulous conversation with our outstanding guide, and got to see/hear/learn about the Jewish quarter and the history of Jews in Barcelona. The pace was excellent with lots of pauses to hear about the spot. This was worth every penny.
