Barcelona Gothic Quarter morning walking tour with Barcelona turisme
We had a wonderful tour this morning with Olga. She is passionate about her city and the history of Barcelona that is fascinating, starting at the time of the Romans. We learn a lot in a short time. We definitely recommend this tour.

Discovering Barcelona origins
Mar 2020 • Couples
This was an excellent tour. We learned about the Roman foundation of Barcino and we visited some remains from those days. The tour felt like time traveling through the centuries and included the visit to the Cathedral and many other buildings (14 different spots). Jordi was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide; the two hours passed by in a blink. We finished the tour with eagerness to learn much more! Jordi made great recommendations about additional visits in the Gòtic quarter.

Well, I booked myself on this tour thinking it’d be a good way to see some of the old town and get a feel for the area. I wasn’t disappointed.

My guide was patient and informative; I learned so much and really loved the walk. Would highly recommend.

A must do for Barcelona visit
Nov 2019
We booked the walking tour through the tourism office. Our tour guide gave each one of us a headset and lead the group of about 14 people through the Gothic Quarter. He was knowledgeable and witty. He covered a lot of history, fun facts and ended the tour at the city hall.

He told us we could visit the city hall on Sunday and the museum of the history of Barcelona for free on the first Sunday of the month. We took his advice and visited both places. Both places were wonderful. The tour far exceeded our expectation.

Gothic Walking Tour
Nov 2019
Very informative tour. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, he took his time, answered all the questions that were asked, even the ones that didn't pertain to the tour. Had a little trouble in meeting up with the tour as the directions told us to be in the St Jaume Plaza, we were, but we should have been inside the office of Tourism at the corner of the Barcelona City Hall. Overall, would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent start of the day!
Nov 2019 • Couples
Our tour guide, Martha, did a very good job showing us around the gothic quarter. She gave us the history of how it started, and how it grew to what it is today. My wife who is not a history buff was eagerly listening to Martha. She loved the quaint alley ways that lead to open plazas and courtyards. A definite must do in Barcelona!
