Prior to the trip we had excellent communication with Vicent, confirming the details. He suggested a morning trip to avoid the heat of the day, which was very helpful. José picked us up on time and the car was comfortable. We found him to be very knowledgeable about all the birds we saw. And his English was excellent. We heard or saw an amazing 59 species! A shame we couldn’t stop more frequently to take photos. However, we only took the half day tour. The highlight was when we stopped at the Laguna de la Dehesa where there there were numerous stork nests with chicks, and a couple of hundred flamingos! Plenty of bee-eaters too, as well as hoopoes, glossy ibis, spoonbills and a pair of marbled ducks. An unexpected bonus was that José sent us some photos and a list of all the birds we had encountered. (Plus some great recommendations for local restaurants!). This tour exceeded my already high hopes and expectations and I would definitely recommend it.

Vicent knows where to find the different birds. He is a kind and enthousiastic guide, who showed us the birds we were interested in. Het knows everything about Donana and the birds. He has good equipment to take a close look en take good pictures.

Vicente was an excellent and friendly guide. In a relatively short period of time, we found Red-knobbed Coot, Iberian Shrike, Cranes and Black Stork amongst many other birds. Vicente speaks excellent English and has a very comfortable vehicle. A great afternoon if you just want to spend a few hours outside Seville in beautiful countryside looking for rare birds.

Even though it was a rainy day with limited visibility, Vicent made it a wonderful experience for us. He picked us up from right outside our apartment, and amazed us with his passion, knowledge and bird identification skills. Even though we are casual birdwatchers from another hemisphere, we learnt a great deal about the Donana wildlife - highlights were the storks, flamingos and 3 types of owls. Recommended for anyone interested in nature and engaging with the local BirdLife.

We went to Brazo del Este with Vicent for a private half day trip. Vicent is a great guide and knows everything about birds and where to find them. Among about 50 different species we saw bluethroat, spoonbill, flamingo, purple swamp hens, marble ducks, night heron, booted eagle and many other birds. Vicent shared not only the birds but his enthusiasm as well. It were some beautifull hours just half an hour away from Seville. Everything about htis trip was great and amazing. Thanks a lot.

I did the half day hike in search of lynxes. As wild animals, the result is relative. Nobody can guarantee the result ... lynxes we have seen, but better evaluate the experience and the guide, which were both excellent. The guy who accompanied us was very knowledgeable and available for every our request. Very happy with the experience I had and the kindness of the guide above all. If I had to happen again in those parts, I would surely contact him again. Thanks for everything

Sergio's knowledge was as great as his enthusiasm. Flamingo, night heron & purple swamp hens were a particular delight. It was good to learn about the area's geography, economy and learning about the issues faced too.

A great morning and saw many birds and different habitats. My guide was very friendly and patient. He even lent me his camera battery as mine was flat! He was also very knowledgeable. I saw the barn owl, white and black storks and also the flamingoes!

We really enjoyed this trip. Vincent is the most amazing guide. He is very thorough and passionate about birds so will provide you with a lot of information. The half day tour was just enough for us and we managed to spot quite a good number of bird species and when they were too far Vincent made sure we could still see them through his scope. Due to lack of rain during the past few months Vincent suggested if we wished to go to another small park close to Donana which still had some water and therefore increase the possibility of spotting more birds and he was right.

Vincent is among the best of the tour operators and guides my family and I encountered on a 10 day trip to Southern Spain. He is truly passionate about birds and provided a terrific private tour for my small group of three birding novices. We started early to avoid the intense heat and sun of the day with a pick-up location just 200 meters from our accommodations. It was a sunny dry day so we were able to walk about a bit to catch a glimpse of many species both in the fields and on the water. I was surprised how many we were able to see in a short time when Vincent helped us with our check list.
I would absolutely recommend this tour because it is well organized and Vincent's enthusiasm for wildlife is infectious. FYI, bottled water and binoculars are provided. Perhaps the best is the scope that Vincent carries in the back of the SUV that brings the birds "up close and personal".
