Get steeped the medieval history of Seville during this 1.15-hour tour of the city’s Jewish Quarter and some of its most ancient monuments. Step back in time to Santa Cruz, one of Seville’s oldest neighborhoods, as you wander its narrow streets and soak up the fragrant smells of its native orange trees. As you continue your walk you’ll also see the exterior of Seville’s Alcazar (Royal Palace), time-worn Roman columns, Alfalfa Square, Plaza San Francisco, and much more. A knowledgeable local guide helps add further context to your walk.
What to Expect

Although it is known as the former Jewish quarter, around these narrow streets there was an endless number of characters of all ages, from Romans and Muslims, to Jewish people and Christians. A guided tour full of legends designed to wrap you in Sevillian romanticism and get you excited with their loves and hates. If you do not know what to see in Sevilla, do not miss Santa Cruz square, a tour around Seville that you cannot miss.

Explore the Santa Cruz Jewish Quarter of Seville, its windy alleyways, shady and flowering courtyards and palaces.

Allow your imagination to make legends come to life. Lose yourself in the labyrinth of Santa Cruz Jewish Quarter and explore its hidden beauties. Walk through the Murillo Gardens (Jardines de Murillo), ceded to the city by King Alfonso XIII and whose name was given in 1918 by ‘the love of the people’ to the Sevillian painter. Visit the Plaza de Santa Cruz and discover the legend about where Bartolomé Esteban Murillo is buried.

Left halfway through

Tour guide was David. Very hard to understand his English and the pace was so slow that we left halfway through the tour.

Fascinating tour of history through commerce, architecture, religion and culture!

Our guide, Raul, shared his immense knowledge, insights, stories and sense of humor which made the tour fun and interesting. He invited questions and made everyone feel comfortable. The meet up spot was easy to find. I really enjoyed it!
