Ok.... the gift shop staff and tour guide where very nice. Just too big of a tour we got separated from our guide once we where at the Eiffel Tower. Just did the tour ourselves. Walked back to the souvenir shop, which was not far to get our boat tickets. We liked the boat excursion the best. The river Seine is and it's architecture is breathtaking

I would recommend this tour company and I would definitely recommend pre-buying tickets, especially on busy times and weekends. Because so many people pre-buy tickets there is still a line to get on the elevator. But, you do get to skip the line where you have to buy the tickets. The cruise down the Seine river after the tour was very nice. Make sure you go to the address listed in the booking! It is a 5 minute walk from the tower and in a tiny souvenir shop a couple of streets away. The description of the location is tricky and probably should be updated by the company. Also, try to go first thing in the morning for shorter lines. When we were walking out, the line was 10x longer then when we entered.

If you've never been up - it's worth it. I think the concept of the no line waits was HIGHLY exaggerated. We had many groups waiting and long lines to get in - may have been faster to be on your own - I'd actually bet money it was.
We were given a ticket for the seine river cruise - was expecting our group to go together so that was a bit surprising but worked out just fine. You have a year to use the ticket. Overall - I'd say definitely go see the tower but don't go with this group. Lot of time spent standing and waiting.

On arrival at the meeting point we were greeted with chaos. Sent off with the wrong group. To be later located by a guide and subsequently abandoned by our guide.
On passing through security there were people from multiple groups who hadn’t gotten to check in and were missing their guides. There was one poor man attempting to organise and fix the situation which he did and he got us with a guide.
Unfortunately our guide was disinterested, leaving to say hello to friends, sneering at people choosing to leave the line for whatever reasons they had and the best part was the end of the tour when we left.

I've been living in Paris for 2 years and have seen all kinds of scams, but this is very misleading. I'm embarrassed that so many tourists get left with this bad taste of Paris in their mouths as Paris is a beautiful city with great people.
Do not take this "cut the line" tour without knowing you should just go to the tower and buy your own ticket for 16.30 euros a person to go to the second level of the tower. The boat ride on the Seine is about another 10 or 15 euros a person.
Here is "the cut the line deal" you get for over 100 euros for two people with "UNIVERSAL TOUR GUIDE":
- You arrive at the "Eiffle Tower Souvenir Shop", the meeting point, which is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the tower. You already suspect something is fishy as it's not near the tower.
- They tell you to be there at 8:15am for the 8:45am trip to the 2nd floor of the tower.
The souvenir shop opens at 8:15am.
- The "tour guide", that came, was hacking up a lung and looked like he was hungover, not smiling and not friendly at all (we're used to the French, it's not about the French), this guy looked and interacted "shady".
- We're suspicious and we're French, so we talk to the guide and ask him what's going on - he said we were WAITING FOR 69 people!
- He said the tour doesn't leave before 9:30am as the elevator doesn't open until then.
- He also informed us there was about 1 hour of security...
I knew what was going to happen - this wasn't a "cut the line" - I've been on many legitimate ones - when we got to the tower, I'm sure we would be fighting with everyone else there wanting to go up with this guy just buying tickets...another couple told us this is what happened to them on another tour with the same company

So,a, skip the line...right. We "skipped the tour" and went home.
Save your money and frustration. What a waste of time and money.

What a total let down. They didn't show up to the meeting place for our tour. An employee who was taking the tour just before us told us our tour person was coming next. He never showed up! After a few hours of wasted time trying to get a hold of the company, the phone numbers do not work. They said they canceled our tour. Tried to work with the travel company that booked this for us, they talked to the manager at Universal and he promised to call us, it never happened. Broke my girls heart to miss the Eiffel tower. If it wasn't super hot we would have stood in the long line to get in without a pass.

The entry itself to the Eiffel tower is great since there is a separate line for those who have prior online appointments. For improvement, we have to go to the field office first which is some blocks away from the Eiffel entry

Although I didn't take Eiffel Tower tour by elevator, I had taken the Seine River Cruise and it was the most amazing things I experienced in Paris. You can immersed yourself in the cool breeze and feel of Paris around.

It's highly recommended to book a skip-the-line tour in advance, available for a premium via many tour sites, BUT do not book any tours through Isango.
I'll spare you the long rant, the hours of back-and-forth with support, and the utter disappointment at not getting to experience the Eiffel Tower and the tour we anticipated, AND Isango's failure to issue a refund for something that was clearly their mistake, and I'll sum up your potential experience with this company here:
1. The time you "book" through Isango's website may not be the time they capriciously assign you.
2. When you attempt to change this date/time, they may make mistakes in communication between you and the local operator and your voucher may be incorrect.
3. If they make a mistake they won't take responsibility for it
4. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS
I thought I'd save some money vs Viator's prices, and we paid the price.

Be independent and don’t use these tour. What ever specific info you need to know about the tower, google it. Get to the tower as early as you can( start your day early finish early)
