The wind and rain did nothing to dampen the fabulous experience with Shamus guiding us through the fall weather to Ross Castle through the park. Historical information and his sense of humor truly helped us enjoy our Killarney experience. I hope everyone can experience the deer sightings and the changes in the weather as we did. It was fun, entertaining, and well worth our time.

I brought my daughter to Killarney this weekend, and our one-hour Jaunting Car trip was the highlight of the whole weekend for her and me! "Moody" Judy our horse has been the talk of the entire weekend. Our guide Eoghan was very knowledgeable and great with my 9-year-old daughter as he taught her about Killarney and made her laugh. I Couldn't recommend this Killarney Jaunting Cars enough!

We had a brilliant time spent with Cal and Gonzo the horse learning everything the was to know about the area. Cal was a brilliant guide, friendly, funny with a wealth of knowledge to share.
The weather had just turned to rain from the fabulous few sunny weeks prior so we weren’t sure if we’d still be able to do it but the carriage is covered over top with a hard roof. There is plastic retractable sheeting on either side so you stay dry and still have an uninterrupted view out the other side. There was also warm blankets in case it was chilly.
10/10 could not recommend enough, the perfect activity regardless of the Irish weather!

I never expected to like this experience. I don't especially like horses and I never do hay rides or Hanson Cabs but I fell in love with this Jaunting Car Tour of the Killarney National Forest. The driver was funny and informative and his horse stole the show, pretty much directing the pace. Our driver owned this horse which isn't always the case and you could tell that this was a loving partnership. The Killarney National Forest is a treasure and we got to stop and see Ross Castle, too. What a memorable tour.

Kevin was an amazing driver. He has a great knowledge of local history and the park. He was a storyteller in the repeating of Ross Castle history. Visitors love hearing tales of folklore, legends and history. Dusty had returned to service after the Covid break and what a beautiful equine. She was so friendly at the end. Highly recommend Kevin and his tour

On our last full day in Killarney, we accepted Patrick's offer to take a ride with his "boss" Molly, and we are so glad we did. Patrick was gracious enough to wait for us to get our things and take the last ride of the day, after all the other horses had packed it in. Patrick was friendly, informative and very funny.
He shared with us the history of the park, identified plants, trees, and wildlife, and even shared some personal stories of his own life and family here in Killarney. He owns two other horses, and we highly recommend taking a ride with Patrick if you are staying in Killarney.

It’s not very possible to explore such a large Killarney National Park purely on foot so this gives a good coverage of the significant features and you can basically already do the rest post-trip on your own. Guide has good knowledge of the area down to the smallest detail. Only down side is that he had a REALLY STRONG Irish accent which can make understating him a bit difficult but then he seriously did a good job, just the accent that’s all........

We had a tour group of 35 people from the US. One of our stops was two nights in Killarney. On our first morning our group split across 6 jaunting cars and we had a lovely tour of part of the national park. Our driver, Johnnie, was extremely pleasant, told us information about the park and sights along the way, and even told a few jokes. It was a great experience and Johnnie was terrific! If I return I may do one of their other tours. Well worth the time and money!

We were staying at the Great Southern Killarney hotel and they were all parked at the main road nearby the hotel. As we walked towards them, they approached us and asked if were wanted to go for the tour. No bookings were made.
