Overview
If you have time for one attraction in Scotland, Loch Ness is a must. This site of natural beauty brings visitors from across the world all year round. Your package includes the sightseeing cruise ticket, as well as round trip travel by boat and coach to Urquhart Castle. What you’ll love: the spectacular views along the Caledonian Canal, learning about the region’s history, and a stress-free ride back to Dochgarroch Lock.
What to Expect
Hop aboard your sightseeing boat at 2:30pm at Dochgarroch Lock, and cruise gently out onto the waters of Loch Ness to begin your tour. Then, sit back and relax on the journey along the historic Caledonian Canal — widely considered among the prettiest stretches of Loch Ness.

With your skipper at the helm, admire top landmarks including Aldourie Castle, Bona Lighthouse, and the crash site of a World War II Wellington Bomber from the water. Along the way, watch the on-board sonar for sightings of Nessie!

During your tour, enjoy a 1-hour visit to Urquhart Castle — a site of 13th- to 16th-century ruins nestled on the banks of Loch Ness. Afterward, return via coach to your departure point at Dochgarroch Lock and listen as your guide sheds light on the region’s rich history, legends, and myths.
