Loch Lomond and Stirling Castle Tour from Glasgow
US$42.60
Overview
If you have limited time in Scotland, check off the biggest highlights of its Highlands and central region on this guided tour from Glasgow. In the company of a guide who introduces you to the complex culture and history of the country, enjoy seamless transfers between Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Aberfoyle, and Stirling Castle. Take in superb views of the landscape and add on an optional cruise on Loch Lomond.
What to Expect
Your tour begins with a morning pickup from central Glasgow. Meet your guide and settle into the air-conditioned coach for the journey out of the city.

Heading northwest, your first stop is at Loch Lomond, a beauty site renowned for its "bonnie, bonnie banks". You have the option here to take a cruise on the lake (own expense) or to visit the charming village of Luss.

Back on the bus, your tour heads for the Trossachs, known as the "Highlands in miniature" for its bounty of woodland, lochs, and mountains. After a lunch break in the quaint village of Aberfoyle (own expense) continue your tour with visits to sites related to Scottish folk hero, Rob Roy.

Next head toward Stirling Castle, perched atop a hill, it's one of Scotland's most important fortresses. Learn about its history while taking in the sweeping views from its walls (entrance not included).

Relax on the return journey to Glasgow, where your tour concludes with a drop-off back in the city center.
