Loch Lomond and Stirling Castle Day tour from Edinburgh

Overview

Enjoy the benefits of independence without the hassle and expense of hiring a car on this full-day coach tour that checks off some of Scotland’s most iconic attractions. Spend almost two hours at Stirling Castle, a lunch break in Callander, and an hour on Loch Lomond, and savor some of Stirlingshire’s most impressive views—without so much as touching the wheel.

What to Expect

Join your coach on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile then head northwest through Stirlingshire’s sweeping views to Stirling Castle, the former home of Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots. You’ll have around two hours here before you head to the pretty town of Callander, where you can eat a packed lunch or choose a dining spot.

Travel through The Trossachs, known as the Highlands in Miniature for their scenic array of woodlands, lochs, and wildlife, to Loch Lomond, and the little village of Balloch. You’ll have around an hour on Loch Lomond: You can choose to cruise across the lake to Luss, or travel to Luss by coach and explore the town on foot. Finally, return to Edinburgh’s Royal Mile.
