Easy way to see so many things
Oct 2019
We really enjoyed our 5 day tour - it was very well planned out and we got to see so many things. We had amazing weather for late October and got to watch the beautiful scenery from the big bus windows. This is not the type of tour where you'll get guided inside tours of castles or palaces - this focused on seeing the landscapes from the bus as well as frequent picture stops. Rabbies also had some unique stops that were different than the typical tours, which we loved.

For accommodations, we booked them ourselves through AirBnB (even Plockton!). We were a family of 3 adults and they said they couldn't guarantee that we would be staying together, but I think we would have been fine since it was low season.

Highly recommend this tour if you're looking for the basics to be planned out, but still want the flexibility of choosing lodging and food options (for a variety of price ranges).

Small group tour and Gill: a perfect combo!
Oct 2019
I was quite hesitant of going on tours and being herded here and there but this was great :) The small group was a just the right amount of number to meet people and interact with them. Gill was amaaazing! Such a deal breaker for the trip. She's IMMENSELY knowledgeable covering geography, history, geology, music -- you name it! She even gives commentaries each time she plays local music -- like having a dj onboard haha, truly fun -- all while driving! haha. Amazing. I don't know where she gets her energy. She was super accommodating, highly positive in energy and spirits, deeply passionate. One of the best guides I've met -- an overall package.

Con would be traveling on a fixed period of time under a very variable weather -- we couldn't go on the boat to Iona and Staffa which were primarily why I chose this particular tour in the first place so that was a bummer :(

Overall, I recommend :)

Wonderful experience!
Oct 2019 • Friends
This was a great trip, covering about 700 miles of awe-inspiring landscapes. We experienced Scotland’s beautiful glens, islands and mountains - all while learning about the history and culture from our wonderful guide Gill. Her experience, knowledge and passion for her country came through every day as she narrated our journey with great stories accompanied by the best selection of Scottish music! The five days were an enticing introduction to this beautiful part of the world. I’m looking forward to coming back - and I wouldn’t hesitate to choose a Rabbie’s tour again.

5 Day Iona, Mull and Isle of Skye Tour with Gill Brown
Sep 2019
This trip was phenomenal but was made especially amazing by our guide Gill Brown, who was not only extremely knowledgeable about environmental issues, history and unique and hidden gems but also very friendly, had great music, and listened to the wants and needs of every individual on board.

Gill made this trip absolutely unforgettable and I would recommend Rabbies to anyone.

Fantastic Time
Sep 2019 • Friends
After careful consideration, we decided to do a tour versus building our itinerary and attempting to navigate Scotland in a rental car. We were so pleased we did! The locations visited were absolutely lovely (and enjoyable)...but it was definitely our tour guide, Gill, who created an amazing and fun experience for the whole busload. Thank you so much Gill! This trip created fond memories that will last a lifetime. We will see you again, when we come back to Scotland. Beannachd leat!

Sep 2019 • Couples
Our guide, Gill Brown was wonderful. She was an excellent driver, quick witted, easy going, great historian and made the entire 5days an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this tour. This is our second Rabbie's tour and both John G and Gill B did not disappoint their guests. Excellent tour company.

Amazing trip
Sep 2019 • Friends
I can’t over emphasize what a wonderful five days we had. Our guide Gill Brown took us to out of the way places and knew how to dodge the more touristy places. She brought the area alive for us with her story telling and her obvious love for her country. The weather was exceptional so that added to the time and the people on our bus were like family by the end of our trip. Gill is also a good driver on those wee roads. I highly recommend this tour.

A trip we will never forget...life long memories made!
Sep 2019
This was our second tour with Rabbies Tours. We loved our tour so much last year (The Outlander Tour) that we had to come back again. The tour keeps everything very simple for the traveler. You are given an exact itinerary, you don't have to worry about driving and you get to visit/eat at different places/stops that you wouldn't normally find on your own...especially on the islands. The tour guides are great and they really add to the ambiance of the country. I would highly recommend Rabbies to anyone looking to tour Scotland.
