Overview

Journey into the Scottish Highlands—famed for their picturesque hills, many lakes, and centuries of history—and then onwards to the Isle of Skye on this 3-day tour from Edinburgh. A small group size makes this a personal way to discover, and with round-trip transit from London via luxury coach, you can focus on admiring the scenery instead of navigating your own way through the countryside.

What to Expect

This 3-day adventure in the Scottish Highlands begins when you meet your guide at a convenient location in Edinburgh and set off via luxurious Mercedes coach. With only a small group of fellow travelers for company, you’ll enjoy a personal discovery tour of the area’s unique landscapes and rich history.

During the first day, make your way up to Portree, the Isle of Skye’s largest town. En route, you’ll see the historic city of Stirling, Ben Nevis (Britain’s highest peak), and the hills and waterfalls of Glencoe. Enjoy time at your leisure to explore Portree in the evening before a night at a B&B or 3-star hotel—whatever your preference.

On the second day, embark on a fully guided tour of the Isle of Skye’s highlights. Depending on the weather, visit the 13th-century Dunvegan Castle, the rugged rock formations of Quiraing, or the sea cliffs at Neist Point, among other destinations.

After a second night in Portree, you’ll slowly make your way back to Edinburgh on the third day, with plenty of sightseeing opportunities as you go. Pause at Loch Ness to see if you can spot Nessie (its sea monster), and admire the wild Grampian Mountains. The tour ends in the early evening, upon your return to Edinburgh.

Awesome Tour and Adam was a great Tour Guide!!

Based on previous highly rated reviews we chose Rabbie's for 3 different tours during our Scotland trip (2 in Edinburgh and 1 in Glasgow). The 3-day Isle of Skye tour was by far our favorite. We really liked the 16 person van with charging ports...More

A Great Tour of Isle of Skye

We had a great and personable driver. He made lots of stops on the way up to our Hotel in Portree as well as on the day tours that followed. Told lots of stories and histories of the area. Lots and lots of beautiful scenery.

Best Tour Ever

Our trip got off to a shaky start as we waited in a crowded Rabbie's Cafe on a rainy August morning. However, things picked up as soon as we headed out in our 16-seat mini bus with our terrific guide, Sean. Sean regaled us with...More

According to Rabbie's, we were to choose our own hotel in Portree. We chose the Cuillin Hills Hotel, which was amazing and had the most impressive views.
