City Sightseeing Edinburgh Hop-On Hop-Off Tour

Overview
An Edinburgh city sightseeing bus tour means you can enjoy all the benefits of a guided tour—including hassle-free transport and onboard audio commentary—but still explore the sights at your own pace. Your ticket is valid for 24 hours, so you can hop on and off at attractions such as Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, and Arthur’s Seat, or stay on board and take in the views aboard an open-top double-decker bus.
What to Expect
Make your way to any of the 14 stops (see itinerary) to validate your 24-hour ticket, then hop aboard one of the open-top double-decker city sightseeing buses.

The entire circuit takes around an hour and you can jump off at any of the stops along the way to tour the sights, visit the city’s museums, or stroll around the UNESCO-listed Old Town on foot. While on board, don’t forget to plug in your headphones and listen to the onboard audio commentary, which will point out all the main attractions along the way and offer background history and fun facts to help you get the most out of your visit.

A great way to see the city, plus a good transport system :). With half of the top cover you can even take it when it is raining.!

Mostly great

I had a great time and learnt a lot using the CSI bus. However, the professionalism of the drivers varied greatly. I do appreciate that it wasn’t helpful when the many people visiting the Fringe just walked in front of the bus, and that that...More

You have to hop on!

Great way to see Edinburgh, without taking your life in your hands by driving! The sights are simply gorgeous and the personal tour is a must!

Dog friendly and good value tour. A great way to see the main sights and highlights.

We arrived in Edinburgh by narrowboat and wanted a good way to see the highlights of the city in the day with our cockerpoo! The drivers were perfectly friendly and the bus stopped at all the main points of interest. Well recomended.

Thank David H
