Itinerary
Your Giant’s Causeway tour starts with a hotel pickup in Belfast. Board your air-conditioned coach bus, and get ready for your first stop at Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.

Once you arrive at the bridge, pay your entrance fee (own expense), and stand in a short line to get your chance to cross the 65-foot-long (20-meter-long) bridge.

Next up is Old Bushmills Distillery, which is super popular for its Irish whiskeys. You can enjoy lunch here (own expense), and wander the gift shop to see if you’d like to pick up any souvenirs (own expense).

Last up on the day’s agenda is the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Giant’s Causeway. Your guide tells you cool local legends about the site as you climb the rocks on the coast. You get enough time at the Giant’s Causeway without feeling rushed.

Your tour ends with a drop-off back in Belfast city center.

Fascinating geology

Fascinating geology. Very busy with people milling around all over the basalt pillars. Be sure to avoid paying for the privilege by accessing via the tunnel to the right of the visitor centre. Shuttle bus to and from site £1 each way.

Hi Natalie, when I took the tour, we got back to the city at about 7pm. The Causeway had been the penultimate stop. However, the advice to talk to the tour people direct is good: they were so helpful and flexible and will... More
