Overview

Discover the spirit of Bath on a River Avon cruise. This short but informative Bath river cruise takes you through the city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and past landmarks such as St. John the Evangelist Church and Pulteney Bridge. Stay comfortable in your vintage Broads Cruiser boat outfitted with a sunroof for summer and a coal fire for winter.

What to Expect

Greet your guide in central Bath and hop aboard a retro Broads Cruiser, a 1960s craft designed for Norfolk's waterways.

Sail past the start of the Kennet and Avon Canal, pass under North Parade Bridge, and savor views of St. John the Evangelist Church. Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife, including peregrine falcons.

Snap photos of the landmark Pulteney Bridge and admire the rushing waters of the famous Pulteney Bridge Weir, backed by Bath’s UNESCO-listed Old Town. Discover the city’s history and heritage as your skipper tells stories of ancient Bath, before returning to your starting point, where your tour ends.

Lovely way to see parts of Bath by water

Staff so accommodating, they even let us go on the boat at an earlier time than we had booked. Young Lady was very knowledgable even to pointing out and explaining the little details. Drinks were a lovely bonus as it was cold a hot drink...More

Welcoming crew

Really lovely trip and made to feel really welcome. Drinks available on board and you can sit up and watch the view from the back or under the shelter of the cabin. It’s a pity it’s so short!

Perfect way to see the sights from the river!

I took a day trip from London to Bath, and had only two things on my agenda: the Roman Baths and this river cruise! It was such a great, affordable way to take a fun little trip down the river. The guides were so nice...More

If you head towards the railway station but just before you get there it’s to the right of it. If you head towards where the canal runs it is along there. Sorry I can’t be more specific ☹️
