Full-Day Tour of Stonehenge, Bath, Lacock, and Avebury from London
US$94.44
Overview

Stonehenge and Avebury are two of Europe’s most impressive stone circles, both incredible remnants of Neolithic Britain. Visit both prehistoric marvels on this comprehensive combo tour, which also makes stops in the Georgian-era city of Bath—made famous by novelist Jane Austen—and the quaint, 13th-century cottages of picturesque Lacock Village.

What to Expect

Your tour begins at Caffe Nero in Knightsbridge, a centrally located meeting point. You’ll board a comfortable midibus and set out on a scenic drive to Stonehenge for a front-row look at the mysterious 5,000-year-old monuments, whose origins continue to confound researchers.

Most visitors end their tours there, but you’ll head next to Avebury, Europe’s largest stone circle and—along with Stonehenge—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have direct access to the prehistoric megaliths, which are situated right in the center of the picturesque village.

After discovering Neolithic Britain, jump forward to medieval times with a visit to Lacock, a stunning 13th-century village used as a popular backdrop for TV shows and films, including Harry Potter. But the in-depth tour doesn't end there. Your last stop is the regal town of Bath, once a favorite of aristocrats during Jane Austen’s time. Marvel at the Georgian architecture and the immaculately preserved Roman-built spas, whose thermal waters first gave Bath its name.

You are correct, the tickets for the Roman bath are not included. We only bought the actual Roman bath tickets.
