Highlights
Morning or evening guided Stonehenge tour
Walk around the roped-off stones, an exclusive experience
Visit Lacock and enjoy breakfast or dinner at a medieval pub (own expense)
Explore Bath, see Bath Abbey, and enjoy a tour of the Roman Baths
All transportation and admission tickets included
What to expect
On the morning tour, depart central London by coach and travel to Stonehenge. Unlike those who arrive at the site during the main hours, your group can enter the roped-off circle of stones. Learn about facts and mysteries surrounding this UNESCO-listed site from your guide, before continuing to Lacock. Take a guided walk around the 13th-century village of Lacock and see locations in films such as 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.' Enjoy breakfast (own expense) at The George Inn, Lacock’s 14th-century pub, before the coach continues to Bath, famous for its Georgian architecture. Tour the Roman Baths, built over natural hot springs, and visit Bath Abbey. Follow your guide to see where Charles Dickens once lived and enjoy a local cheese tasting. Alternatively, enjoy some free time to shop and explore Bath on your own. Drop-off is in central London. The evening tour stops at the same sights, but in a different order, starting with the Roman Baths, then driving to Lacock, having dinner, and finishing with a private sunset view of Stonehenge.

Amazing experience. Highly recommendable. Kids loved it. We went into the inner circle at the sunset. Chris, the guide, was very knowledgeable, approachable, patient and really transpire love for what he was doing.

Bucket list trip –– Did not disappoint!
Mar 2020
This was the highlight of our trip to the UK. I took my 15 and 7-year-old kids, and I wasn't sure what to expect. Completely worth every penny! Our tour guide Peter and our driver Neil took us first to Bath, where he guided us into the Roman baths and made recommendations for places to pop in and grab treats before we moved on. Bath was SO cool and I had no idea how much history was there! I feel lucky I had a little glimpse of it and can't wait to go back now. My kids loved the history too. We then drove through the Cotswolds (SO BEAUTIFUL) to Stonehenge, where Peter and our private tour guide Chris took us up to the Stones and let us walk around and take pictures for more than an hour. This was bucket list for me and it was perfect. Peter and Chris told us so much about the Stones and the history, took our pictures in just the right light and angles, and let us linger until the very best sunset light came through. They went above and beyond, and it was truly incredible and once in a lifetime. Afterward, we drove to dinner at a pub from 1362 in Lacock, and Peter gave us a quick tour of the medieval town. It was just right. A full day, but so well spent, and they did everything they could to make it perfect. I felt like I hit the jackpot with this tour! Highly recommend and for kids, too!

Premium Tours-Stonehenge with inner circle access, Bath and Lacock
We took the tour to Bath, Stonehenge with inner circle access and Lacock. We had an amazing day. The total time with the tour was about 12 hours but our tour guide, Peter, was so entertaining and pointed out so many interesting things that the time seemed to fly by. He also made sure we had some quiet time to rest on the way back. Peter made us all feel very welcome, at ease, and was easy to talk to and ask questions. Peter made sure that we all were comfortable and made sure we all knew the best way to get back to our hotels or homes after the tour so nobody would be lost, confused or stranded. Peter took tome to speak to every passenger separately to make sure we had the info we needed. Peter also went above and beyond to make sure we all got great pictures at the sites and knew the best angles. We also had a 2nd guide at Stonehenge, named Chris. Chris was full of great information about Stonehenge and so friendly and enthusiastic about Stonehenge. It was an unforgettable day. I absolutely recommend this tour and this company to anyone considering viewing Stonehenge (with exclusive access to cross the barrier and walk amongst the stones), Bath (a absolutely gorgeous Georgian village with ancient Roman bath ruins that still function) and Lacock (a charming medieval village that was the setting for film scenes including some from Harry Potter and a pub established in 1361 where you can still eat and drink).

Stand under the stones
Mar 2020 • Solo
I can’t imagine visiting Stonehenge any other way. I was on the afternoon tour. We left at 11 in a large motor coach. Very comfortable. We drive straight to Bath and spent a little over an hour there. Self-guided tour of the baths with audio. Frank was our guide for the day and did a great job of letting us know the timing. He pointed out some sights in route to Bath. Next we headed to Stonehenge. We had an appointed time that we road up to the stones and walked around. We only had about five minutes at the gift shop before it closed. At the stones we had a guide from the site that discussed the history and then we were able walk around and through the stones for pictures. We were not able to touch but could walk all through them. I really cannot imagine any other way to see them. It was sunset and so the timing was perfect. After that we headed to an English pub for dinner that we had selected ahead of time. It was cozy and gave us a chance to visit with others and enjoy an incredible dinner. I had steak and ale pie. Super great. I then slept during the ride back to the city. Martin was our bus driver and he did a great job. The day went without a problem. Frank pointed out the long boats as we passed and discussed the Cottswalds which was so beautiful. This was the trip of a lifetime for me..

I'll always remember where I was on March 1!
Mar 2020
Be prepared for a 12 hour day. Our guide, Peter, or more accurately Peter the Great, was wickedly funny, very knowledgeable, and sincerely enjoyed engaging with the group. He kept things smooth with the driver, who had a long tedious day. It's nice to know there are a few pros left. There isn't time for lunch. Take a snack to have when you arrive at Bath (rules are no eating on the bus, water was ok). If you purchase lunch in Bath you'll miss the one hour allotted. An extra hour would have been nice, but that would have necessitated leaving at 10 am and turning a 12 hour day in to a brutal 13 hour day for the guide and driver. Stonehenge was the middle stop. The Stonehenge experience was astounding. It's much more worthwhile than my last visit 30 years ago. With James, a Stonehenge director, escorting us, were allowed in to the stone circle as the sun was setting. Weather was initially cold+sunny, then quickly became ghastly with freezing rain. I expected Peter to pack everyone back to the bus, but noooooooo, he insisted we wait for the sleet to pass (it was miserable). Within 10 minutes the sun returned, revealing the most amazing complete double rainbow ever. This was a first even for James, a Stonehenge director. We stayed to watch the sun set behind the stones, followed by a moon rise above the stones. Then on to the town of Lacock, where we had a pub meal (extra $$ but worth it). Peter the Great took us on a brief walking tour of Lacock, a preserved medieval town. The experience was worth so much more than the cost! To see three sites in one day and be allowed to enter the stone circle is well worth the fee. With Peter the Great as our guide, the blustery changing weather became a magical asset. Highly recommend.

Good tour, wish the itinerary can be rearranged
Very good tour overall. It's a great experience to be able to walk into the inner circle with the knowledgable Stonehenge ranger. Excellent driver. Great guide. Only wishes the itinerary could be rearranged. I had the Stonehenge sunset tour. The day started at Bath, then Stonehenge, then Lacock. By the time arriving Lacock, it's already dark and couldn't see anything. I think it would be better to swap Lacock and Stonehenge, so there's still day light to tour the town.

So worth the extra cost!
Jan 2020
My family and I decided to pay a bit more for this tour so that we could get up close to the stones in Stonehenge. It was truly worth every cent! Peter, our tour guide, was funny and personable and kept us going all day with stories, jokes, and history of all of the areas we visited. (Our driver Martin did a fabulous job as well.) We absolutely LOVED our time up at (and in) the stone circle (even my 20 year old son), and the history we learned about it was fascinating! Lacock, a small medieval town where we had breakfast, was like stepping back in time (very far back), and it was such an incredible experience to see things as they have been for centuries. Bath was the most beautiful city. We got to tour the Roman Baths and then wander around on our own until we were to meet up again for the ride back to London. That was such an incredible tour; well planned out, great guides, and experiences we will remember for a lifetime.

Only way to see Stonehenge
Stonehenge has been on my list for some time, but I’ve wanted to wait until an inner circle access tour was available. Glad I did. You are absolutely alone w just half of your group inside the circle. I can’t imagine doing it any other way. I had no expectations on Lacock or Bath, both were very good. Food was tasty at Lacock, very efficient local inn. Roman Baths were ASTONISHING ! I had not idea such a vast area had been excavated- more to come. A great experience. Bath is a cute town also- enjoyed Bath Abbey-lovely cathedral. Frank was the perfect guide! Sophisticated and knowledgeable, provided just the right amount of information. Also tailored to individual interests and made sure we were safely on our way to our final destination post trip. Perfect day, I’m so happy I saw all three places.

A truly amazing experience
My highlight was the private viewing of Stone Henge, a mystical moment that will, permanently, stay with me.

The full day adventure tour is a great way to start the 20s. The Premium coach tour guide operator, Andrew, really knows his history and done a fantastic job, explaining and giving us interesting facts.
Also Wendy, from the English Heritage Foundation at Stone Henge, was really lovely and very helpful.

Once again, thank you for making my weekend.
