London Day Tour Including London Eye
From US$153.39
Overview
If you only have one day to discover London, this tour squeezes in as many top sights and must-do experiences as possible. Visit Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the Tower of London; watch the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace; take a ride on the London Eye; and enjoy a Thames River sightseeing cruise.
What to Expect
Meet your guide in central London and hop aboard an air-conditioned coach for a panoramic tour of the city. As you drive around central London’s sights, listen as your guide points out famous landmarks. Make a photo stop at Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married.
Next, visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, the magnificent domed landmark that stands watch over the City of London district. Admire the work of legendary architect Sir Christopher Wren, before heading inside to explore the historic church and its impressive stained-glass windows.
Continue to one of the most iconic buildings in England—Buckingham Palace—and arrive in time to watch the unforgettable Changing of the Guard ceremony, one of London’s most beloved royal traditions. Don’t forget your camera, as it’s a rare chance to see the guards and marching bands in all their finery.
After tucking into a packed lunch, visit the Tower of London, and enjoy an extended visit, including a guided tour led by a Beefeater (Yeoman Warder) guide and free time. Learn how the Tower has served as a palace, a royal mint, a prison, and even a zoo throughout its long history; take a peek at the priceless Crown Jewels and hear fascinating tales of the Tower’s long history.
Afterward, head to the River Thames to board a sightseeing boat and set sail. During a scenic river cruise, admire views of London from the water and spot landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and Tower Bridge.
Back on solid ground, the final event of the day is sure to be a highlight: a ride on the London Eye. It’s the perfect end to a perfect day, gazing out over the London skyline and enjoying views that stretch as far as Windsor Castle on a clear day.
Your tour ends by the London Eye around 6pm, leaving you in the ideal location for a dinner date at one of the city’s riverside restaurants (not included).

A must-do experience but for a bit of sparkle as well I wish you get Lawrence as a guide on your tour.

I have been living in London for over two decades and never went on the hop on/off buses until a few days ago when I had some guests over and they wanted to see London. What a fabulous day we had - even for me...More

It’s included but you can get the same tour without it (which I did) that is cheaper. I did the London Eye separately and got a better deal as you can get it with a package to Madame Tussaud’s or another attraction.

The guide spoke English. But they have audio system installed at every seat which have various language option. You can select your preferred language and listen it through ear plugs which were provided in the bus.

It may depend on the tour guide. I read other respondents said no, but our guide talked to someone so we jumped the line to buy the tickets and then entered a VERY short line and were on in minutes as opposed to others who... More
