Lovely punting experience. 45mins with great guide. Very scenic. The children had ago at punting at the end of the tour which was nice. No 1 thing to do in Cambridge
With a collective 20 years of experience Rutherfords have the knowledge and expertise to offer the very best 45 minute river tours of the river cam and its surrounding architecture.
We begin our trip from Jesus Green Moorings, Cambridge. Your journey will take you a mile down the river to Darwin College along which you will have the pleasure of cutting through the private grounds of the colleges seeing the sublime College Backs. Enjoy unique views of the most famous Cambridge sights including Magdalene College, the Bridge of Sighs, St John's College, The Wren Library, Trinity College, Kings College Chapel, the Mathematical Bridge and Queens' College. Your guide will then take you back to the La Mimosa Punting Station for the end of the tour.
You will be accompanied by a professional chauffeur who will punt you down the river, and also give you a Visit England Quality Assured Tour narrative, telling you some of the spectacular stories Cambridge has to offer, bringing the history of Cambridge to life.
On our shared tours you will share the punt with others, and your seats will be allocated on a first arrival basis. Our boats are equipped with blankets, umbrellas and seasonally with hot water bottles.
