Sonya was amazing! So good to get a tour from a guide that is both experienced and local. She had visual aids, which I thought was a nice touch. She also pointed out famous graduates from the various Colleges, which I really appreciated, and kept us out of the sun, which was a welcome gesture in 30 degree heat. :) 5 stars!

Our guide, Daisy, was excellent. Very informative, enthusiastic and witty. She brought history to life and we learnt so much we hadn't known before about Cambridge's history and its colleges. Highly recommended!

Our guide, Toby, was friendly and approachable. The 2 hour walk was at a pace that was appropriate for the group. He was very knowledgeable and took us around the main part of the town and explained the history.

First stop is this free walk tour. Which is worth it. If you are just in a short visit, and in a budget, do this one first and explore the city the same day . At the end of the tour , it is worth giving donation please. My daughter used to work as Student ambassador and this extra income is very helpful.

An experienced guide with a wealth of knowledge who put Cambridge into historical context. It was informative and a pleasant 2-hour tour

We had a lovely tour today with Daisy. Daisy did an outstanding job. It was a big group but Daisy managed to include everyone, always speak loudly and clearly, so that everyone could understand her. She told us in a lively, entertaining way a lot about the history of Cambridge and the University and slipped in some stories of her own experiences. We had a great time and can fully recommend the tour with Daisy.

Our guide was Daisy who is doing her PhD in history. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and a great speaker. She took us through the history and guided us past the major colleges. Humourous anecdotes enlivened the experience. We had done the Oxford tour in 2018 with Footprints. Strongly recommend them. Would have loved to have gone inside some of the colleges but you need to do that separately.

Sonia was so knowledgeable but kept it interesting and the 2 hours just disappeared as we were engrossed in the story of Cambridge University. Thoroughly enjoyed the stories/histories of the colleges this afternoon.

Very well organised walking tour with an experienced student led team. Daisy, the tour guide, was a current student at Trinity College and brought the city and it's history to life. Her knowledge was second to none and she confidently answered all our questions and gave great recommendations on the local area. I learnt so much about Cambridge and the people that have made such an impact on the city. I would highly recommend the free tour that allows you to tip the tour guides what you think the tour was worth - I think she was worth every penny all the guests gave her!

Sonya was an excellent guide, showing the highlights of Cambridge with flair. A great way to see the city whether you have visited many times or for the first time. A relaxed but informative way to look around.

Excellent 2 hr tour with Sonia. She was so knowledgeable and the time flew by. She also added a bit of humour to the tour with lots of anecdotes from times gone by.

Guide didn’t turn up. No-one contacted us in advance to let us know. At least the refund is coming quickly!

We did the 2 hour free tour with tour guide Sibylle. She was so knowledgeable, brought fantastic energy and humor, and really helped us immerse ourselves into the history and life at Cambridge. Her thorough background in history brought so much credibility to her tour, she really made the most of the 2 hours. optional tip at the end. so pleasantly surprised by this free tour!

Lovely tour around the city, history and colleges. The guide was absolutely brilliant, smart and super interesting to listen to (sorry I don't remember her name, a Spanish and Greek Literature student at King's College). Wouldn't change anything!
