Cape Peninsula Coastal Safari with a Marine Biologist
US$59.72
Overview
Join a bucket-list African adventure!

Get close to nature by meeting the unique creatures of the Cape Peninsula while guided by a knowledgeable local marine biologist. Breath-taking views are part of the package but each trip is uniquely tailored to maximize your experience.

Your journey will end where it began - a skip and a jump from wine estates, beaches, and the Cape Town city centre.
What to Expect
We start the day with a steaming coffee before heading along the remarkable Chapmans Peak Drive towards Cape Point National Park. An icon of maritime history, we’ll walk up to the Cape Point Lighthouse taking in the panoramic views while learning about the historical significance of the Peninsula.

We will stop at a number of lookout points and, depending on the weather and wind direction, take a stroll along a rocky shore or sandy beach looking for rare and interesting creatures of all shapes and sizes, and colours. We'll take a dip in secluded rock pools as we explore the treasury of life along the coastline. From rock pools to boulders, we’ll make a stop by the endangered African Penguins of Boulders Beach within the Table Mountain Marine Protected Area.

No tour is complete with some 'down time' to soak up the tranquility of the Cape Peninsula without the buzz of other travellers. We'll ensure some quiet time is part of the package.

Your journey will end where it began - a skip and a jump from wine estates, beaches and the Cape Town City.

The rock pool was full of surprises

I liked the format of the tour. We beat the crowds by heading straight to Cape Point nature reserve when other tours check out the penguins first. Everyone who visits Cape Town must see Cape Point. It is raw, breathtaking and out of some fantasy...More

Magical tour of the Southern Cape Peninsula

We spent a magical day with our very knowledgeable guide visiting the most beautiful places I never knew existed. I enjoyed the relaxed, personal way in which the tour was conducted.
