Overview
Discover Québec City history on a trip to Montreal that includes hotel pickup. Visiting on a guided tour means you won’t miss the city’s sites, from the UNESCO-listed Old City to the Plains of Abraham and Montmorency Falls, hearing about each spot along the way. To see even more of the city, add a cruise along the scenic St. Lawrence River, with views of Old City walls and sheer cliffs.
What to Expect
Start with pickup at your Montreal hotel or at a central meeting point, then board a climate-controlled coach for the 2.5-hour trip to Québec City, passing through the dense forests that line the St. Lawrence River.
The tour begins where French Canada was born, in Québec City’s Old City, offering cobblestone streets and historic buildings amid its stone fortifications.
Next, continue to Montmorency Falls, where the Montmorency River drops 272 feet (83 meters) towards the St. Lawrence. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to browse Old City boutiques, sample local cuisine in cafes, or just enjoy the scenery from the city walls. Between May and October, you can add an optional 1.5-hour cruise of the St. Lawrence, great for unobstructed views of river islands, cliffs, and wharves.
This full-day tour concludes with the return trip to Montreal and drop-off at the original departure point.

I’d ask the tour service if you could bring your luggage on board and let them know you’re not coming back. It’s a tour bus, not a shuttle service so I doubt they will take you to your hotel. Of course, you’ll be on your own... More
