Not enjoyable at all. Wouldn't recommend. Long, boring and better tours out there at much cheaper rates.

Fun trip but it's not a guided tour
We enjoyed our day trip to the Algonquin park with Mike. It was a very long day but all the stops were well timed.

We particularly wanted a smaller tour and didn’t want to be taken to the guide’s mates places. We paid extra to be picked up from our hotel and then to the meeting place where we met with our guide for the day- Mike. He was a very knowledgeable, affable chap who knew his stuff and nothing was too much trouble. What we really appreciated was his flexibility and willingness to cut shorter time spent at falls, as the Hornblower cruises weren’t yet running, and to spend more time at the other stops. He had good recommendations everywhere and was great company on what was a long day for him.
Would definitely recommend this company and will use them again. Thanks Lenka for making all the arrangements

The trip was postponed by one day to have sunny weather and we started an hour earlier to enjoy the Niagara Falls not overcrowded. Simply beautiful! Both tastings were great.. thank for this amazing trip Mike!

Lenka is a very good tour guide. She totatally responds to your personality. If you want to talk, she shows real interest and asks questions but if you just want to sit back and relax she gets it. She´s been to a lot of places, so she has a lot to say about many different subjects. On the tour, she was on time at the meeting point, but I would sugest that the airbnb page of the tour should have the exact place to be in the mall, because we had a little trouble finding that out. Falls Balls is a nice place where you can take nice photos and have a little fresh air. Sue Ann Winery is a good experience also, where Jake is very friendly and pacient. Wine tasting is not our kind oh thing and we had a great time. Maple farm is the only disappointing part of the tour, because the girl that gives the tour had clearly no time for us and just gave a little 5 minute talk that was not very educational. We understood that she had other things to do and giving a tour is not the main activity there, so we did not took it personal.
Niagara on the lake was good and the falls are very nice too. In every stop Lenka showed perfect punctuality, which we appreciated very much.
Overall I reccomend this tour and company a lot.

My favourite part about Travelling Chicken is the personal touch. Lenka takes interest in everyone, making sure the experience is enjoyable for all. The Niagara trip was well run and I did not feel rushed despite the many fun stops & activities Travelling Chicken put into that tour.

Visiting Toronto and decided to do this tour on my own to see a few sights I might not have been able to otherwise do. Great day out and well planned. It was one of the highlights of my whole holiday!! Lenka was lovely and knew all the best places. If I’m ever back in Toronto , I’ll definitely book on for another one of her tours!

The tour was informative and very relaxing. Our guide, Lenka, gave detailed explanations about visited places. Even we did not go to Maple farm as Covid restrictions, all other stops were very interesting, especially Niagara falls.

WARNING: this tour will most likely be rescheduled. I booked my niagara falls for a Friday and Lenka sent me a message on Thursday letting me know that the tour will have to be cancelled and that there are options for Saturday and Monday. I suspect that not enough people were trying to go to the falls on Friday so they had to reschedule. I understood where the tour was coming from so I was okay with it. However, it was a hassle to move all of my plans for Saturday to Friday. If I was leaving on Saturday, I would have been very disappointed. But Lenka was extremely unprofessional after I replied on Thursday that Saturday would work. I received a reply late at night on Friday for the confirmation of my Saturday plans even after calling the company several times.

On to the tour.

First of all, a 15-person mini van was advertised for the tour. That was not the case. I was forced to sit in the tiniest, most uncomfortable seat in the middle row between two people. I had to sit in a seat with a head rest that shoved into my neck and armrests that shoved into my left and right back for 4 hours. Mike (our tour guide) had his girlfriend come on the tour with us and although she was friendly, I did not see why she was coming with us. Secondly, Mike, our tour guide, really did not care about the tour. Mike gave us no explanation of the falls or the places that we were going to. He simply drove us to the places (in a rush) and let us off to do our own thing. He would often ask questions to us but the point of a tour is not only to get to know each other but to be GUIDED to the places we are visiting. I could have easily got on a bus to the falls instead of booking this tour. The falls were beautiful but I learned nothing from this tour.

As we were staying in Toronto and it looked a little complicated to get to Niagara Falls by ourselves, we decided to book a day tour with Lenka from Travelling Chicken. We were so glad that we did.
We not only saw and experienced Niagara Falls but also saw much of the pretty countryside that surrounds the Falls area. Fortunately for us, three others had pulled out that morning, but that meant we were just a tour group of three and got an even more intimate experience, driven in a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle.
Lenka was adaptable and flexible in the plans for the day and suggested we see Niagara Falls first, as it was July fourth and peak tourist season. We parked in a nearby carpark, got our first glimpse of the Falls and walked along the promenade until we reached the tour boats. With out Travelling Chicken tickets we were able to ride the furnicular there and back. The wait was not so long to board "Maid in the Mist" boat tours and we were taken as close as possible to the amazing Falls.
There were several options for lunch, but due to the hot weather and the hoardes of tourists, Lenka looked at Down Town Niagara and suggested we eat there as it was reasonably quiet. (Originally we were to go to Niagara on the Lake for lunch). Again we were given a number of dining options, but we chose to eat in an old fashioned diner which was fun!
It was then on to Niagara on the Lake where many people were enjoying the shores of Lake Ontario. Time was given to walk around this beautiful town, take a look in some of the captivating shops and enjoy an icecream from award winning Cows.
It was on to a maple syrup farm to learn about the harvesting and production of maple syrup. This came complete with maple syrup tastings and the opportunity to purchase goods to take home.
Next was a stop at a winery to taste amongst other wines, "Ice Wine". Our last stop was at the Balls Falls. The walk to these falls took us through beautiful forested areas and on to another set of lovely waterfalls. Here, there were very few tourists.
A long but enjoyable, action packed day thanks to Lenka, our guide.
It was a very full but enjoyable day. This day tour is great and takes you to so many different places.

I had the best time on this tour! The itinerary was perfect and it was a well paced busy day with lots of free time to explore! We had some unique stops that If on my own would not have known to visit! Our tour guide Ramiro was very welcoming, organized, and spoke a lot about the area! I highly recommend booking a tour with this company … it’s a day well spent! I will book another tour with them again!
