We went on a light sunny day after the holiday, which was perfect to avoid the crowds. Kaleb was spectacular in his commentary and even made sure that the itinerary the participants had in mind matched his own after confirming with the whole bus at the beginning of the trip. It was a little shorter than expected, and he could have given us another half hour, but my friend and I didn't mind coming back to the city earlier. Kaleb was funny and knowledgeable about Niagara Falls and its history!

My favourite part of the tour has to be the cruise ride from the Canadian side. The falls on both the American and Canadian sides were just simply spectacular. And most importantly, when you are on the cruise, you will most definitely get wet.

The tour guide - Kaleb was dedicated to making the trip satisfying. He arrived at our pick up point timely and along the way he dedicated a lot of time expounding different natural scenes, Canadian industries and many more. He was friendly, facetious and approachable.

Overall, I highly recommend the tour to anyone who is interested in visiting the Falls.

I can't recommend this Company enough. We had been given a 'free flight over Niagara Falls' by our agent but found out it didn't include transport from Toronto. I tried several tour companies who couldn't or wouldn't alter their trip schedule to encompass a detour to Niagara airport. Luckily I stumbled upon Queens Tours who were so helpful, they organised a bespoke trip for us at a very reasonable price. Our driver Kaleb was excellent, he was knowledgeable and engaging. Kaleb went out of his way to make sure the day was unforgettable, he included a trip to Niagara on the Lake which was a bonus and made sure we got to do the trip behind the falls even though this meant getting back to Toronto well after his scheduled time. I would certainly say, ignore the big tour companies and use Queens to see Niagara.

Bus driver was very friendly and nice. We were picked up on time and dropped off at the same location. Now the bad. I asked how there Covid procedures are and they told me they follow all guidelines and have 7-8 people usually per tour. They definitely do not follow social distancing because we were picked up in a sprinter van and it was packed with 15 people including the driver. I was sitting in the very back where they have 4 seats and I was on the window seat with my knee up into my chest almost cause it had to rest on a wheel well. We got 2 hours in niagra which is just not enough time if you want to do multiple things. We did the journey behind the falls, the boat tour was not open during the time we were there. And we walked on Clifton hill where there is so much to see and do unfortunately there just isn’t enough time to do anything. And most quick restaurants are closed and only open on weekends. They stop at a few other places including a wine tour which is nice we enjoyed ourselves there but I think we would have liked to be in niagra for 4 or 5 hours and skip the wine tour and a couple other stops that we thought were unnecessary. On the way home we sat in a different seat cause I couldn’t handle that back seat again. Unfortunately the other seats in the van are almost just as bad as there is absolutely no leg room you will have more leg room on a economy air flight than you will in this van. The highway was shut down on our way home and we were stuck in traffic for 2 hours. Not the tours fault out of there control but the van was so full and people were so squished in there with no leg room sitting in a van for 3 hours to get home is very very uncomfortable, they don’t check vaccine passports but require you to wear a mask at least which is good. The van looks newer but the suspension is shot you will feel every bump down the road. If your looking for the absolutely cheapest tour this is the tour for you and I highly recommend it. you get what you pay for. Stuffed cramped vans with no leg room and no amenities in the van to charge devices or places to put things like backpacks will have to go in your lap or on the floor. Now to the person who is gonna respond to this review point by point trying to tell me that I’m wrong and convince people I’m just a guy who has a vendetta. I realize you send an itinerary with the day planned out. And I except that I’m simply letting people that read this review that if they want to do the boat tour and journey behind the falls and go into the town and explore and eat lunch you won’t be able to do it. You will have time to do one thing and take some pictures and have a quick lunch. If you want to do more try and find a tour that offers maybe 4-5 hours at niagra and cuts out the other stops. And I can’t stress this enough the van is horrible horrible horrible the most uncomfortable ride I have had in a tour bus bar none. It’s not even close.

Queen_Tour
Hi Chris, After you sent us an email, we sent you a refund. I'm sorry that you weren’t satisfied with our program. I hope the refund makes you feel better about this experience. I can’t blame you for being aggravated about the day - unfortunately, the road closures on the way back to Toronto made us finish the trip around 7 pm instead of 5 pm and that isn’t a good experience. It’s extremely uncomfortable to sit in any car or bus during extended road closures. Our buses are 2016 and newer and are regular models you can expect to find in Toronto. The Queens Quay closure was unmarked on the GPS and so we were not able to avoid it. As per your issues with how we handle COVID-19 - we are following the guidelines Ontario has set. Being on a bus tour with other people during a pandemic will pose a risk, and so to mitigate it we are following exactly what Ontario has told us: reducing the maximum number of people on the tour from 24 to 14, vaccinating our staff and disinfecting the bus each night, requiring masks, opening windows for circulation, disinfecting the bus each night, and daily temperature checks for our tour guides. In response to your comment about requiring vaccine passports, we are not under the legal authority to ask for a vaccine as our business is not a part of Ontario's vaccine mandate. You can search for more information about Ontario’s vaccine program on ontario.ca. In regards to the group size - we did not lie to you and say that the tour will only have 7-8 people. The email reply we sent you on Sep 5 says: “tour groups are limited to 14 people (but usually are 5-8 people)." You ended up joining our busiest day since the reopening two months ago. Please check your records for the email. Sorry that you weren’t satisfied and I hope that the refund can help this feel resolved for you. Thank you

Kaleb was a great guide, very knowledgeable, and respectful.

It's worth mentioning that I booked this trip last minute. Literally, past midnight and the tour would be leaving 8 hours later. Because the tour fee is non-refundable I was nervous that booking so late would mean their Customer Service wouldn't see my reservation until the morning but I was wrong. They confirmed my reservation right away and we communicated via email through 1am. I was just passing by Toronto and didn't have data, only wifi at certain establishments - none of this was an issue for the tour. They were organized, on time, communicated transparently, and not once was my last-minute booking an inconvenience. I appreciated that they switched out for a bigger bus (since I threw off the original number) as well. Overall, it was a great time, you leave at a decent hour and come back just in time for dinner and plans for the night!

The falls were breathtaking. Having 4hrs of leisurely time alone to do your thing is more than enough.

Kaleb our driver was fantastic, very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The hotel pick ups were fantastic, particularly in Mississagua as a lot of operators do not go out that far. I do think that its over priced for what is a glorified bus transfer, there are other tours which are far cheaper and include other attractions such as wine tasting, etc. However we only had 1 day and were staying near the airport so it was convenient, again Kaleb made it worth it.

Queen_Tour
Hi there, thank you for sharing the feedback about Kaleb! I think it’s fair that you didn’t totally enjoy the trip, but want to share our side of this. Regarding the concerns about value, we’re actually in the middle of the pack for pricing but unlike others that are $10 cheaper and use coach buses with 40ish people, we use minibuses with a max of 24. Also it’s actually incorrect about wine tasting - the similarly priced tours took wine tasting out of the itinerary this summer because of logistical challenges with the wineries. The actual difference between tour options is that some of them make a 45-60 minute stop at Niagara on the Lake, whereas we skip the commute and town and spend the extra 1.5 hours in Clifton Hill and at the Canadian Horseshoe Falls instead. We have smaller groups and more time at Niagara Falls, others are larger groups and have Niagara on the Lake. Both options are good and up to the travellers preference but that’s the main difference. Also I’m sorry you felt it was an overpriced bus transfer- im not sure why you thought this, because like you mentioned, there is a tour guide that provides a lot of knowledge and commentary along the way and at the stops. We have an article on our website comparing all the methods of travelling to Niagara Falls and their pricing. The train and bus options are cheaper but end up costing more with the Uber fares you’ll need to take in Niagara Falls to get around. The commute will also take an extra 1-2 hours of time each way unless you get a direct route which isn't frequently available. Uber is another transportation option but that’s about $400-500 round trip. Anyways I totally understand why you felt this way, but I hope the context I provided helps put things into perspective. Thank you and safe travels!

The boat ride was the best experience of the trip. Pickup of riders was a bit of an issue, but that wasn't not on Kaleb the driver. Toronto traffic is terrible and people now a days are not prepared at the meeting point, causing us to wait to get out there.

The ride up itself was pleasant as he told stories about the car industry & history of Ontario and Niagara. It was too much info for me personally, I was trying to snooze, but heard other people on my trip really enjoy it.

Those taking the boat ride were dropped by there, and the pick up point was close by. that.

To make this trip a success, it is your responsibilty to ask questions of the tour operator in advance, get things verified. Plan your 'free time' in Niagara Falls realistically. Then be sure to be back a few minutes before departure as to not hold up the other guests.

Queen Tour Niagara Falls Tours is an excellent, well organized company. When we had to cancel 2 of the 6 people in our group, they refunded our money and responded in less than a day!! Our tour guide, Salvatore, was amazing!! He not only was informative, helpful and funny, he also went out of his way to make sure everyone saw and did what they wanted to do in Niagara. For example, we had reservations at the Skylon restaurant at 11:30, someone else was going on a helicopter ride, others were going on a boat ride. He accommodated EVERYONE!! It was a great tour and Salvatore is a first-rate tour guide.

What a great trip and so smoothly organised. Our driver Salvatore arrived exactly on time and with a total of only 3 pickup points we were on our way. He gave us a good summary of what to expect during the trip and advanced warnings of things to watch out for on route. Not a rushed trip with comfort stops at Floral Clock, cable car viewing and The Maple Syrup Place with plenty of free time at the magnificent Falls where we went on boat trip and plenty of time to walk around viewing from different places and enough time for lunch. Salvatore then gave everyone quite on return trip and dropped back at hotel.

Highly recommend this trip.

Enjoyed all of it!!
Kaleb's ongoing sharing of information on the bus was very interesting and informative - even to a local resident.
The boat ride is a must.
Viewing the Falls from different spots also very special.

Kaleb was very helpful when a few snags arose.
Booked two different days for 2 people by mistake.
Kaleb kept calm and we tried for a "no show" which happened. Thank you Kaleb!
Also we went to the wrong pick up point at the end of the day. Kaleb again came to the rescue.
All in all a very pleasant day and well worthwhile.
