Overview
Hot drinks, certified marine biologists, and indoor and outdoor viewing areas set this Victoria whale watching tour apart from its competitors. Travel in luxury and style as you look out for whales in their natural environment in the one of the world's best whale-watching habitats in the Juan de Fuca and Haro Strait. Other sightings may include marine birds, seals, and sea lions, making this the ideal way to see more of the region's animal residents!
What to Expect
April through October, are the ideal months to view our Southern Resident Orcas in all their glory. The Juan de Fuca and Haro Straits are home to three Resident Orca (killer whale) pods, referred to as J, K and L. Nearly 85 whales belong to these three families, allowing you ample opportunity to have a close encounter.

During the peak viewing months, the success rate for sighting whales is over 95%. Other marine wildlife you may encounter includes Dall’s porpoise, Harbor porpoise, Stellar and California Sea Lions, Harbor and Elephant seals, Otters and many marine birds such as Cormorants and Bald Eagles. There is also a very good chance of sighting Humpback, Minke and Gray whales!

A complimentary shuttle is available to pick up from all hotels in downtown Victoria and will take you back after your tour.

Awesome trip with LOTS of orca sightings!

Loved every single minute of this excursion. We wound up on this tour as part of a cruise-ship sanctioned excursion, and it was completely worth it. It was our last stop of the cruise and we'd luckily seen some humpbacks in a different area of...More

Unfortunately we did not have any orca sighting, but we did have plenty of humpbacks. Including a few that changed directions and surfaced with 10 yards of the boat. Also had some close viewing with sea lions as well. Kimberley was a great naturalist for...More

Hello Eric, Thank you for joining us on a whale watching tour during your recent stay in Victoria! Despite there being a large number of killer whales (three resident orca pods and transient orcas), we don't see them on every tour despite our best efforts...More
