We recently spent our Saturday traveling to these marvelous locations. Our Guides Joel and Gabriel were excellent and explained things thoroughly. The trip was a pleasure for the entire family.
Visit three of the Riviera Maya’s premier destinations on a hassle-free trip that lets you travel with ease between the ruins of Coba and Tulum—with a side excursion to a beautiful cenote—and the aptly-named Paradise Beach. On this excursion, ideal for first time visitors with limited time, you'll receive a healthy dose of culture and science, and enjoy the convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off.
The day begins with an early morning pickup at your Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya hotel. From here, you’re off to Coba, once a bustling center of commerce and public life for the Mayans. Home to Nohoch Mul—the tallest pyramid on the Yucatán Peninsula—Coba is rich with history, which your guides shares with you. Next, take a dip in a refreshing cenote, a natural sinkhole in the earth with stalactites formed over hundreds of years.
Head to Tulum to see more ruins, this time on the edge of a dramatic cliff with the turquoise sea lapping below. Once home to nobility in ancient Mayan times, you'll learn more about Mayan history, the Spanish conquest of the city, and what happened to its inhabitants.
Your final stop is Playa Paraiso (Paradise Beach), and once you see it you will know why. The calm waters are perfect for lounging, snorkeling, or simply enjoying a beverage on the beach while you admire the ruins above.
After a full day of adventure, board the air-conditioned minivan for the trip back to Playa del Carmen.

I would fully endorse the previous travellers comments and assessment of the day. We got WAY more than we expected for an extremely reasonable price. We were picked up promptly at the assigned time and headed to Coba. Do bring a breakfast snack along as...More
