Highlights
Make the most of Mexico City’s nightlife on this guided evening excursion
Experience a traditional cantina, a lucha libre match, and mariachi music
A great choice for solo travelers and first-time visitors
Wrestling tickets, public transportation, and a souvenir included in tour cost
What to expect
Meet your guide and fellow revelers in the Centro Historico, not far from the Zocalo. Your first stop is dinner and drinks at a popular cantina, where you’ll eat a tasty meal while learning the details of your evening out. After dinner, hop on the subway with your guide and group and ride to the lucha libre arena. There, find your reserved seat and get a quick tutorial on the rules of the theatrical masked wrestling that is among Mexico’s most beloved sports. Then, cheer with the crowd as luchadores (wrestlers) leap into the ring. Then, head for Garibaldi Square, where you’ll sing and dance to roaming mariachi bands. As your tour winds down, return to the Zocalo area to top off the evening with drinks. Your guide can then help you hail a cab or give you pointers on where to continue the night out on your own.

The Most Fun Tour You'll Ever Have
Mar 2020
I had very high expectations for this tour, but even those were exceeded. We had a few people and we became fast friends. It was truly an unforgettable night our hosts were very passionate and knowledgable about lucha and. We had great seats and it's truly something that makes you feel like a true local. I would take this tour/experience again in a heartbeat!

Jacinto was a great guide
Feb 2020 • Solo
I did this tour last night, led by Jacinto. He was awesome. He has a passion for Lucha Libre and a lot of fun to be around. He schooled us on how to identify good tequila, taught us about mariachi, and yelled his head off at Lucha Libre.

So much Fun!
Feb 2020
Tour was amazing. The Wrestling is truly something special. A MUST DO for sure. We had some hiccups on our tours with a few of the guests not bothering to stay with the group and we were constantly waiting for them, but this was definitely not the fault of the guide, who did a fantastic job!! Definitely will recommend this to anyone and everyone!

Frenetic, colorful, (sometimes foul-mouthed) fun!
Feb 2020
Between the delightfully raucous luchadores and surreal swarms of mariachis, it's hard to tell who was more entertaining. But it was probably our tour guide, Adriana. She was energetic, attentive, and seemed to be having the most fun out of all of us.

Adriana taught us "authentic" Mexican jeers to shout during the lucha libre matches and provided some interesting backstory on the life of a mariachi. Plus, she showed us how to navigate CDMX's subway system. (Which was very useful later in the week.) Her quick thinking and local connections saved the day on our way to dinner. She even put a fun and engaging twist on our mezcal/tequila tasting.

This tour neatly groups together several experiences that on their own could be hard to access or efficiently coordinate. You probably wouldn't want a wrestling match to be the only plan you make for the night, for example. It's a well-paced couple of hours where you won't feel bored and won't get overwhelmed.

Lucha Libre
Our guide was Julio. What a guy! He knows all the history of tequila and mezcal and a mad fan of the lucha Libre he tries to go once a week he told us and his favourite lucha Libre hero won on the night which was a bonus he walked us through the city and we didn’t feel unsafe at all while under his supervision even on the subway. If you have time I definitely recommend this tour as it gives you a tasting of tequilas and mezcal.

Excellent tour, group was too big
Dec 2019 • Couples
Jacinto and Eduardo were great and they were very knowledgeable. The lunch libre was a lot of fun! However, the large group size made the restaurant experience very disorganized for the staff of the restaurant and our guides. I would recommend to the company that they put a number cap on their tours to avoid confusion.

Luche Libre fun time
We did the Lucha Libre tour with my 2 daughters aged 12 and 14 and they absolutely loved it! Our guide was great and as an x wrestler have us a lot of insight into this Mexican attraction. You do a mezcal tasting before but not my highlight as not a big fan, but the wrestling was a hit and really something different with the whole family and is highly recommended

Dec 2019 • Couples
Rodrigo was a great, very knowledgeable and very engaging guide. Showed us around the Garibaldi square where we first went to the museum of tequilla where we learnt about tequilla and mezcal and tasted drinks. We went to a pulqueria after that and drank traditional pulque. We went to a 100 year old restaurant called Tempolana and had good vegetarian food and listened to a mariachi band. After that, we spent the rest of the time seeing Lucha Libre which is the unique mexican wresting style and was very entertaining.
