To say the least, we were a little under prepared for physical demand of the ev mountian bike tour. Hugo adapted continuously and provided endless opportunities, meeting all of our needs, and creating the best possible experience. Warning, coblestone, although romantic, adds a new level of physical demand if not prepared. Also, 5 stars to their booking system and timely reminders. Though it was a bit hectic upon our arrival, yet it took a few minutes to have the room ready as per our request. The view was really lovely. We could enjoy the splendor and magnificence of the place. The vibe at night was amazing. The staff were hospitable at the executive Lounge throughout the days. My first ever attempt and wasn't nervous at all. The higher and faster, the better!! Tour guides were spot on. Tequila tasting was great and my tour guide even bought me a beer. Met some great people on the truck up there. Make sure you're reasonably fit as there's a bit of trekking to do in that jungle. Great experience. Loved it.Written September 4, 2022

- bitsys20180 contributionsYelapa worth the visit!We had a wonderful day taking a Panga to Yelapa with Chico as the guide and Pepe as the boat driver. We walked to the waterfall in Yelapa, ate lunch on the beach, shot some Raicilla (very strong!) and snorkeled at Mahahuitas. Some tips: The waterfall is a short hike, about 15 min, so ATV or horse not necessary. Flip flops are fine. Try a Michelada on your way down. Like eating a seafood salad. The Mixed Seafood plate at lunch is fantastic but expect it to cost some money. Snorkeling at Mahahuitas was great. Looked easier than at Los Arcos. Choose to snorkel after Yelapa as the day is warmer. Enjoy!Written January 2, 2022

Jumping into the waterfall was exciting, a great way to cool off and remove some of the dust. Riding over the Jurullo suspension bridge was incredible. All 17 of us had no complaints. It was very easy to correspond with Rodolfo and he was able to tailor my tour to my "wants" and best of all they had no problem offering a cancellation policy that let you cancel and get a full refund, many tour companies would not book a private tour and let you get a refund, which is totally unacceptable as you never know what the weather will do or if you have to change your plans.Written November 18, 2021

He picked up us at the pier and we went on a beautiful cruise down the coast taking in the stunning sights before reaching the snorkeling spot. The water was perfect and we saw so much amazing sealife - TONS of different kinds of fish, of course, but also an eel and a spotted eagle ray!! I couldn't have asked for more. After snorkeling, he took us to the breathtaking bay of Yelapa where we lounged on the beach, had lunch and cocktails, and went parasailing! Chico even arranged for a special birthday treat for my guy from the restaurant...so sweet! Finally, at the end of the day, he was kind enough to deliver us back directly to our hotel. I couldn't ask for a better experience and highly recommend anyone to do this!Written October 12, 2021

They brought a cooler with a new bag of ice just for us..El capitan “Chico” definitely made this trip unforgettable. He’s very knowledgeable, easy going, patient, and smart! I went with my husband and our three sons and Chico made sure that we were safe during the whole horse ride to the waterfall. He then took us to a beach where we were treated like royalty. They had puppies and iguanas running around everywhere and the kids loved it. We then had an amazing lunch at one of the restaurants on the beach..I wish I could remember their names Bc the staff also deserves praise. 10/10 for us! - Brian_Jolin0 contributionsAn Amazing and Intimate ExperienceWe met Chico and his boat the PICHITA at the pier and were immediately embraced by a sense of hospitality and fun. We took the short trip to Los Arcos and drove through a water cave. Because this spot is so crowded we moved further on towards Yelapa before snorkeling. The secret spot was just us and the fish were plentiful and beautiful. We then enjoyed a fabulous lunch in Yelpa and a ATV ride to the waterfall. Chico was entertaining, accommodating and a wealth of information about his native city and the surrounding coastline. We did not have to share a huge boat with 50 other tourists, and everything moved at a relaxing pace. Chico planned the snorkeling, lunch and waterfall visits to be opposite the big tour companies, so things were never crowded at all. Even though the boat is small, the ride was very smooth and we were under the canopy in the shade at all times.Written August 17, 2021

I can't recommend this tour enough, especially with how good a deal it is and the amazing staff! Rodolfo was so fast and accommodating with his responses when I needed to reschedule our booking and finding a place as close as possible to where we were staying to pick us up.
You get to a gorgeous ecopark where all the staff were really enthusiastic and friendly - our guides Manny, Ivan and Caesar clearly have so much fun with their jobs and made the experience for my partner and I even better (it was a Tuesday and just us on the tour). You get to zipline over gorgeous jungle valleys and the view from the lines are all killer, it's an awesome way to see another side of Mexico besides the beach. We even got to (safely) try zipping upside down and superman style. Afterwards we got to try some tequilas and explore the ecopark and river - it's a great way to spend a day (not to mention the margaritas we had at the restaurant there were some of our favorites...)
Additional HUGE shout out to Rodolfo for going above and beyond - We bought some bottles of the tequila we tried and forgot them in the van. We were flying out the next day and we offered to meet somewhere in Puerto Vallarta but he super generously offered to bring them directly to us at the airport.

I traveled to Puerto Vallarta with my family and had the awesome experience taking in the Canopy Zip Line Tour. We went by Uber to the pick up point and was then transported by van through the City of Puerto Vallarta and up through the mountains to Canopy Tours. They do not allow you to take anything with you and provide lockers for your personal items. Tour guides Ricky and George helped with the gear necessary to accomplish our zip lining experience, keeping safety in mind in everything we did. Our group was small and was very nice as it made group comradeship fun. What an adventure as we traveled the ten different zip lines into the heights and natural beauty of the mountains. A beautiful sight as you zipped through the valley. The tour was thrilling and exciting as Ricky and George helped each one of us complete our fantastic zip line experience with different maneuvers whether it was just hanging upside down. The zip lines varied in length from 33 feet to 624 feet and there was some steep hiking between a few platforms. Ricky and George were truly super additives to the whole tour. If I get back to Puerto Vallarta I will schedule another Canopy Zip Line Tour and ask for Ricky and George.

If you’re looking for a few hours off the beach, I definitely recommend booking this afternoon trip. We have done zip lining before, but this was our best experience yet! All the staff at Canopy Zipline were professional and friendly. Our guides Luis and Caesar were great with everyone in our 11 person group including my two girls (11 and 13). They made the experience fun while keeping us safe.
It is noteworthy that there is a bit of steep hiking involved between the lines. Some are faster than others, with some being quite long (up to 330 meters long I think) which makes for a thrilling ride. The vistas were magnificent and the excursion gives you a taste of the jungle.
I would highly recommend Canopy zip line adventure.

My best friend and I had both never been ziplining before and our first experience with Indio was amazing. Jose and Jorge went above and beyond to make us feel safe and make us laugh and have a blast.
After ziplining we had a great lunch. I had fresh grilled shrimp and my friend had carne asada tacos. There was also a tequila tasting where you can buy bottles at the end.
Just a heads up (something we weren't super prepared for) is bring a decent amount of cash, especially if you're planning on having lunch and doing the tequila tasting. They accept pesos and US dollars.

This was totally worth it! We had 7 people kids ranging from 9-12 and a few adults. It was a pretty physical tour so if you aren't in good physical health this is not for you. The superman zipline through the canopy was amazing. We did several ziplines, drove ATVS, did some scary stuff like jumping off a large platform, repelling, climbing a tall rope ladder. It was soo fun. The staff is awesome. Alondra our leader is so fun and bubbly, Arturo was great as well! Alex our driver was so nice and fun to talk to! My sister in law was super scared because of a previous rock climbing fall and they were so supportive and cheering her on and they made lots of accommodations for our nephew who is on the small side. At the end, there are drinks and a lady making homemade tortillas and quesadillas and she is the sweetest!. The only thing we don't love is the professional picture pushing but we get it and it wouldn't deter us from coming back. This is our 3rd excursion with Vallarta Adventures and they really are the best.

I've never been on a zip line tour before, but thought my adventurous eight-year-old would like it. She LOVED it! Ricky and Jorge were thoughtful and fun guides that made the experience a great event for our small family. Safety was a priority and I was thankful that no one was allowed to be distracted by cell phones or anything other than hanging on and having fun. The views from the top of the jungle are breath taking. In order to enjoy those views, there is some hiking involved up some steep trails and staircases. It was well worth the effort and there are benches and water stations to pause at if needed. We took the morning tour and I was glad we did as it was warm my afternoon when we left. The company, Indio Adventures, had excellent communication and they were clear about the pick up location and were on time.

It was pouring when we arrived and I was t sure if we were still going to go but the rain let up for the first half of our zip lining adventure. We had an amazing time and the guides were great. We have an 11 and 7 year old and they both loved it.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We may suggest some protective gloves or glasses. They will not allow you to bring your cameras which we understand but prices for pictures were expensive.

We may suggest some protective gloves or glasses. They will not allow you to bring your cameras which we understand but prices for pictures were expensive.

Travelling solo I wasn’t sure about zip lining as my previous experience in the taverns in Wales was fantastic.
Rodolfo was able to help me make a last minute booking with Indigo, and I made sure I got to the College Disco pickup point on time from my hotel in the Marina area. Managed to grab a bite to eat for breakfast at the restaurant across the way.
I was picked up by the first driver in his car and dropped to a mini bus. I forgot insect repellent so picked some up at the pharmacy. Johnny the driver was great. Got to the place and met Ricky and Angel, who guided us through the safety elements.
Had a great laugh with the pair of them.
Views were wonderful, and ended with a superman technique.
There was the option to stop at rope number 4, but I went all the way to 9 and glad I did.
Restaurant at end showed me a large range of dishes, but I settled for a not so modest Guacamole with Nachos and Salsa. Loved it.
Slight miscommunication with the photo guy, I decided to say no to any pictures.
I always tip.
Didn’t use the insect repellant in the end, I guess late Feb is cooler and not so many mosies about, or I chanced it and got lucky.
I wanted to leave earlier to get back and as I was solo, this didn’t seem like a problem.
All round, good day out. I’d do it again with friends, and happy I’ve now been on my own.

The zipline was great. Our tour guides Edgar & Gala were amazing and a great team. At the end they try to sell you to buy photos, food and offer a free tequila tasting(which is also a sell obviously). We ended up purchasing the tequila which is supposedly a family business. She was very nice but she ended up selling us tequila that was in the wrong bottle AND not at all the same to what we tried. $40 for the bottle and the whole contents of the bottle froze after 30 minutes in the freezer...very disappointed. Do the zipline but DO NOT purchase anything else.

The transfer there was long and quite uncomfortable no cushions on seats no windows in bus but very interesting like a tour of area diver was great ! Zip wires staff very friendly and helpful. Everything Organised and it felt really safe. We didn’t eat but everyone said food lovely we had a few drinks at a very reasonable price. We couldn’t take phones or cameras and bought the ones taken by staff price was fine. But very few pictures had been taken it would also have been good to have some of river and forest areas as stock pictures. Our tour was full so we didn’t have time for tequila tasting or get offered to swim unfortunately. We did 10am tour so set off from hotel at 9 we didn’t arrive back until 5 so long day out. This trip well worth the money we had a lovely day

I weigh 250 lbs. Is there a weight limit? I also have a bad knee, mustI climb many steps to get up to the zip line?

Not sure about weight limit. I’m around 200 and went with no problem. Stairs are a little aggressive, two of us had bad knees. We survived! Highly recommend!!

Hello Emma! Yes, the transportation is free of charge and not mandatory. Although it is recommended since the road inside the town called Nogalito is dirt and is not in optimal conditions. I hope the answer helps you, enjoy this beautiful experience!
