Aruba Atlantis Submarine Expedition
From US$105.00
Board the Atlantis Submarine to explore Aruba's underwater world, an activity suited even for small children or those who can't swim. A ride in this US Coast Guard–certified vessel takes you to 130 feet (40 meters) below the surface of the ocean, where you will get views of the Barcadera Reef, local shipwrecks, and Aruba's famous marine life.
What to Expect

Begin your adventure in downtown Oranjestad, where you’ll get a safety briefing and orientation at the tour center. Then step aboard the tour’s surface vessel for transfer to the submarine. This technologically-advanced passenger submarine, certified by the U.S. Coast Guard, makes it possible for even nonswimmers and small children to dive deep below the surface of Aruba’s waters.

Grab a window seat in the submarine and prepare for the dive. Get views of marine life on the Barcadera Reef and two local shipwrecks. Learn about the marine life you see, the reef ecosystem, and the history of the shipwrecks through your crew’s informative commentary.

After about 60 minutes, surface and head back to land, where you’ll receive an official dive certificate to take home.

Safe and Fun!

This was a fun excursion. My Mom isn't a good swimmer and has a fear of water, but she felt safe and enjoyed this excursion. The underwater is beautiful. I was surprised how far out and how deep we went - pleasantly surprised! I would...More

Nice experience

This activity was a nice experience but i don’t think it is for everyone. The shuttle boat ride is about 15 minutes to the submarine and once you get on the ride moves around a lot. The ride makes you a bit nauseous but they...More

WOW! Down to 150 feet under water

One less thing on my bucket list! I have now been on a real submarine, diving below the surface, into the realm of Poseidon. What a perfect way to see the abundant marine life of a coral reef without getting wet! The Sub Seeker tender...More

Fun Time

I had looked forward to this sub ride for a long time. I enjoyed the tour but it was very crowded on our trip. We didn't see as many fish as I would have expected and it seemed like the fish were always on the...More

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are glad you enjoyed the experience of the submarine going down too bad it did not last very long. As for the fishes it is very dependent on being at the right place at the right time to...More
