About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- maurfe880 contributionsA place where to have fun with your favorite pirates!3 floors (the 3rd, 4th and 5th of Tokyo Tower) of games and activities in company of Lufy and his crew! At the entrance you find a small One Piece shop, however ther's one muuuch bigger at the first floor of the tower. Definitely check it out!Written May 20, 2020
- UltimateGamester0 contributionsA One Piece fan's paradiseYou know you are in Japan when one of the central Landmark buildings of a city has 2.5 floors completely dedicated to an anime. The amount of passion for one piece here is palpable. Places like this are the reason I love Tokyo so much. If you are a One piece fan of any age, this will be one of the highlights of your trip.Written April 14, 2020
- Laura123420150 contributionsOne Piece ParadiseThe tower was unfortunately closed due to the Coronavirus but the ground floor, where the shop and Sanji's restaurant are, was open. So much awesome merchandise!!! They had some insane figures of Zoro, Luffy and Boa, I wish I had the money to buy them cause they were CRAZY!!!! I definitely recommend a visit if you are a fan but I think you are gonna be good with just the ground floor without going to the park. There are characters statues everywhere around the city anyway!Written March 30, 2020
- 34marlee0 contributionsLate night visitI planned this visit for my boyfriend and I, he loves the show. We ended up getting there around 8ish and it seemed like a perfect time cause it wasnt busy at all. They have a lot of interactive games. I will say, you should probably play the snail game first (sorry I cant remember the name). It last 30 minutes while you are on a treasure hunt and you wont be able to play any other games until it's over. All in all, this is definitely a cool place to see if you are a fan of the show / comics.Written March 1, 2020
- molivares30 contributionsFun little place for OP loversI went with my husband during our honeymoon. Both of us LOVE OP so I was happy to explore Tokyo Tower. It's very small, but its entertaining. We both had fun, and the food was pretty good. We'd definitely go back in the future.Written January 6, 2020
- Ida s0 contributionsAmazing fun 😄It was amazing & awesome. Went on weekend and do some special treasure hunting. Actually pretty hard but awesome when you figure out 😃 And there is a lot of fun things to do (not only statues). So if you like/love one piece you realy should go!!Written November 10, 2019
- dlu70 contributionsAwesome and funDefinitely a must go for One Piece fans! Several floors dedicated to the series with activities and shows! There are two restaurants. Mugiwara Cafe and Sanji' No Oresama restaurant. The shops are filled with cool merch too! This year also marks the 20th anniversary for the anime!Written October 17, 2019
- kamloongc0 contributionsOnly for fansYou will enjoy the setting if you are a fan. If not, it’s a themed amusement center with the tower as the main piece. Of course you can spend time here but I think it’s pricy. Outdoor parks may be better option but this is for the fans:)Written October 11, 2019
- salg78810 contributionsLots of fun even if you don't know One PieceI went into this blind, only knowing what to expect. However this place is able to cater to the diehard fan as well as to people who have no idea what One Piece is. This place is divided into 3 floors so MAKE SURE TO VISIT ALL 3. There are plenty of spots to take pictures with statues of the characters, carnival type games and lots of concept art. My friend who is a diehard fan absolutely loved it. As for me, it made me feel want to start watching the show. It is a must for any anime fan.Written September 24, 2019
- Millie B0 contributionsA good stop for one piece fansI however, am not super into one piece, my friends were. It was still some fun, but kind of basic, there were activities and some good photo ops, though not much more than that. I think catching a live show would have maybe made the experience a little more than jussi a walk though of themed floors, but I’m also not a huge fan, so I can still see the attraction others would have and if you’re into it, it would still be super exciting.Written September 6, 2019
- KimberlyY44160 contributionsHours of One Piece Fun and GamesTokyo One Piece Tower is a great attraction for families and a must-see if you are a fan of the show. We bought the regular pass which doesn't include entry to the show but we had a great time and spent many hours there nevertheless. The Straw Hat-themed minigames are heaps of fun; you have to pay 500 yen to access Franky's but otherwise they are free to play. We went on a weekday so queues weren't long and we weren't kept waiting by the friendly staff. If you only have time for one or two, I recommend Usopp's shooting range and Robin's poneglyph scavenger hunt. Robin's game allows you to hunt poneglyph stickers around the tower with a den den mushi prop and was probably our favourite of the day. The Mugiwara Cafe is actually not in the park itself but you are allowed to leave and re-enter. We ordered Perona's pancakes, Robin's tea and Usopp's matcha frappe. I would order Usopp's drink again, matcha with popcorn and whipped cream is an unusual but tasty combination. You can find and read One Piece manga volumes in the cafe while enjoying your drinks. They look to be mostly in Japanese though. We would have stayed longer if we could but had to leave for a dinner appointment. Overall, superfans of One Piece will not be disappointed, but you don't enjoy the show, you may find yourself a little bored.Written September 4, 2019
- Michelle K0 contributionsIf you love One Piece - you'll love thisAs one of the most famous and longest running manga and consequent anime, One Piece deserves its own theme park and lo and behold, here we have it. Undeniably a number one spot to visit in Tokyo if you are a fan of the show! My boyfriend and I chose to not watch the Live Show as we found it a little strange seeing our favourite characters as people. Didn't really see the attraction. Apart from that, the park was great and we particularly enjoyed the exhibition showing the progression of the series as an anime from page to screen. Whatever you do, you will leave with a smile. Outside of the main theme park you are able to not visit the Mugiwara store with merchandise as well as the Cafe and Restaurant for free. I found that figurines were cheaper in the markets of Akihabara however there were some souvenirs I didn't find elsewhere like Luffy's hat hair clip and a decorative towel with some exclusive designs. Otherwise I would highly recommend going to the two eateries as the food was not only delicious but adorably One Piece themed. Restaurant Baratie may seem a little expensive but what else do you expect for genuinely Sanji-quality meals? Well worth it.Written July 10, 2019
- Angela M0 contributionsBrilliant, lots of funMy son has been a One Piece fan for many years so this was his dream to visit this tower. We had a great time doing all the attractions, and eating in the buffet style restaurant. Great fun!Written June 22, 2019
- pure_heroine0 contributionsAn absolute mustIf you're in the area and even mildly like the anime, make the time to go here. We spent over 3 hours hopping in and out of the awesome activities, and loved the information section. This is appropriate for all ages with activities both for children, and adults. They really did do an amazing job, worth every penny spent. We were on the fence at first and are extremely glad we took the plunge. (Because it's a niche activity the food is a little pricey, but nothing obsence. Either come to terms with the situation or eat ahead, and you're golden for hours of quality entertainment)Written June 8, 2019
- jktraveladventure0 contributionsFun but crowdedWhen we arrived, there was a long line and it was very crowded. Adult tickets are priced at 2900 yen for the park pass and main deck which is quite reasonable as we spent about 3 hours there. Once tickets are purchased, you will need to line up for the elevators to gain access to the tower or take the escalators to get to the one piece section. There are a few activities to play which is great for the kids but prepared for the lines also. There’s also plenty of characters to take photos with and a restaurant upstairs to feed your hungry stomachs. After you have experienced the tower, there’s a souvenir store downstairs where you can purchase one piece items. I do suggest purchasing tickets online to save time. Overall, it was a great experience.Written June 5, 2019

This place was incredible. To be honest the attractions aren’t super amazing technically, but every single detail is so faithful and lovingly created; it was like being a kid again. The show is a must see, it’s worth the price of admission itself in my opinion. Even though there’s no English subtitles, it’s easy to follow and the effects are awesome. If you’re a fan of one piece, do yourself a favour and go. We spent around 4 hours there. My wife doesn’t know anything about one piece but still enjoyed the games and seeing me excited.

Let’s just talk about this live show for a minute. My son is a huge one piece fan and this show made me one too ! My advice go check it out. None of it was in English but we were able to follow along. When you check in and get your show time go get in line early it’s on the 4th floor and people will be waiting! Explore the rest of the museum afterwards. You want to get a good seat. The seats aren’t really seats they are long skinny bench like cushions but the show isn’t very long so you will be ok. If you have small children please get in line early to sit near the front so they can see.

The live show, games, gift shop, Franky's Cola Bar and Mugiwara Cafe, was wonderful, nothing to complain about. But do not expect something fancy, it is only 3000 yen or so. For all One Piece fans it is a joy but keep in mind it also leans towards children to high schoolers. As for Sanji's Resturaunt, it is well decorated and the food was good, but I am before 3pm, and there is only a buffet, which is limited in options. But I saw the menu for the resturant and the food looked well rounded. So after 3pm you can have the served options and I would reccomend that! I really loved the design of the foods from Mugiwara cafe, I attached Corazon's Monblanc and Trafalgar's iced coffee. They are all pretty and it was delicious. And in the cade you can read One Piece manga as well as the spscial editions! Btw, the resturaunt, cafe, and gift shop are not part of the admission fee so feel free to just visit these.

We went because our son is a huge fan. We weren't there long before we realized this is a really great attraction. Definitely try the live show. We had low expectations, because admission was so reasonable, but it was fantastic. The quality of the acting and choreography was top notch. Great attraction even for people not familiar with One Piece.

This place is a 3 floored piece of heaven for One Piece fans. Located inside Tokyo Tower.
Pros:
1. Their live action act was better than I've ever expected. Everyone was in perfect character and captured all the nuances of the straw hat crew. I even got to see Gear 4th on stage!!
2. The live sized models and recreation of the interior of Thousand Sunny... wowwww
3. The games are simple but free to play with your ticket, and again, totally in character! There's a sword room in Zoro's game
Cons:
No good food in there, even in Baratie...

Crowded with fans or people who were immersing themselves in the anime culture! All narration were in Japanese but you should be able to understand the gist of it. The live show was great, be sure to queue early if you want a seat that is closer to the stage, else you will be at the back trying to peek through heads.

Both my husband and I love One Piece, it’s something we use to watch together a lot when we first started dating, so we knew we had to come here. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the whole experience was fun. Even though the show wasn’t in English we still enjoyed the actors portrays of our favorite characters!

I had to book through trip advisor because my card wouldn't work on the official website, I think because it was a foreign card i am not sure, but it was super easy I just got the digital ticket sent to me and it was an easy entry. I would recommend going right when it opens before the crowds shows up. And the life show is so fun, even though I don't understand most Japanese it is a must see, the effects they use are fantastic and very innovative.
