About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- R5497QWpeterm0 contributionsLegendary, must do for GTR fanatics.I had an amazing experience with Fernando as the driver during the Gaijin Tuned event! From the moment we met, Fernando was incredibly friendly, personable, and made me feel right at ease. He had such a great energy that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. As for the GTR35, wow! What a machine. Fernando’s driving skills really showcased the car’s power and precision. The handling was flawless, and I could tell that Fernando knew the car inside and out. He was able to push it to its limits while still ensuring a smooth, exhilarating ride. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better driver to experience the GTR35 with. Fernando made it fun, exciting, and unforgettable. Highly recommend him if you ever get the chance!Written February 10, 2025
- stephenphanvongsa0 contributionsAwesome experience! Must do for car enthusiasts! This was better than I expected! Highly recommend for anyone that wants to experience cruising around Tokyo in a GTR! I had Taichi as our driver and he was very accommodating. I shared his car with 2 other people and we stopped at Daikoku for 1 hour which was plenty of time to take photos and walk around to feel the vibe! Short stop at A Pit Autobacs was also part of the package, great shop for any car related products, they even have little canteen in there. The Parking Area at the meetup location was cool as well, saw some nice JDM cars parked in the underground PA!Written January 18, 2025
- spencerf5880 contributionsAwesome!!!Fernando was Awesome! Daikoku was closed because TAS Sunday, so we went to Aqualine instead. The GTR experience was totally worth the money, as a huge automotive enthusiast. The meeting point wasnt fully accurate - they park the cars in UDX, so meet around there instead of on the main akiba strip. Thankfully I had my whatsapp installed and was able to find them. Great experience Solo, but also would be really fun with a couple friends too!Written January 12, 2025
- J7270RB_0 contributionsAmazing ExperienceAmazing Experience, cars were amazing, tour guides were great! Spent over 2 1/2 hours, exploring the amazing scenic JDM parts of Tokyo, would highly recommend, to anyone!Written December 9, 2024
- douglasdE6352HQ0 contributionsThe cool KID clubContacted them a month in advanced, and they were beyond excited to talk with me about how awesome their experience is. They advertised their many tiers of “club membership”, which all sounded too good to be true. Trust me it is. The Nigerians in golden gai have better customer service than these clowns. I knew I was screwed when after reminding them several times that they still had not sent me a payment link, when they could have easily linked this trip advisor page. They went as far as to CONFIRM AVAILABILITY the week of my hoped tour. Then on the day of they absolutely ghosted me, like an uninterested 20 year old chick. These guys are clowns, I clearly wasn’t cool enough for them to want to take my money LMAO.Written November 15, 2024

- 19garnetm0 contributionsGreat experience! Worth every penny! It was an amazing experience. Our driver Cody was really fun to talk to. It was just a great experience driving around Tokyo highway and seeing all the amazing cars in Daikoku. Also, if you are a solo traveler when you buy the experience to drive in a sports car you will be paired with others in the car, it will not be a solo experience but it is still very fun.Written October 20, 2024

- 769benm0 contributionsMust do in ToykoThis trip was fantastic. The cars, the atmosphere, the people. Going through the Tokyo streets and highways in a GT-R R35. absolutely magical. Sam our guide was fantastic. Couldn't have been more friendly and made sure everyone enjoyed the trip. Being 6 foot I worried about getting in the car and although it was a squeeze. It was more than worth it for the experience. The Daikoku parking lot was unreal and could of stopped there all night with the cars. Definitely worth the moneyWritten October 7, 2024
- jonasnR5332EU0 contributionsYou need to experience this at least once in your life and don't underestimate Julie.I went on a monday with good weather. The Daikoku parking area had a lot of nice cars, the stops at Autobacs and Tokyo tower was really nice and showed a lot of the cool Tokyo car culture. But the ride was the blast! I rode with Julie in her tuned JDM car and boy did she mean business. Julie showed what the car could do and we blasted through tunnels with the other club cars all around us, passing, waving, side by side, accelerating past....all with some nice tunes from the stereo and Julie telling us in perfect English (Even French!) all about the ride, places and cars of Tokyo. ...and when i said go faster, she did! Many thanks to the Gaijin Tuned club for an experience topping all others. (Note: I joined another tour the coming saturday.) /Jonas SWEWritten October 1, 2024
- Espen K0 contributions100% recommend the tour.Memories for a lifetime if you love cars, the drivers are super friendly and easy to talk to and the cars they drive are amazing. 100% recommend them. Definitely coming back again next time. Thanks for the experience. 🙏Written August 4, 2024
- 584istiaquec0 contributionsA1 ExperienceBooked via get your guide and the team.will reach out to you via WhatsApp or.similar nearer the time to ensure you find the meetup in Akhibara. If you enjoy gaming,.anime,.electronics, I'd recommend to get there at least 2 hours to peruse around the area, there's a lot to see. Saady and Ayumu were absolutely easy to chill.and chat with. Their range of cars allowed me to see and experience things along the way that you can't see/do elsewhere More importantly, they are your ticket to Daikoku where they show you around and also give you enough time to do what you want. If you're willing to pay or have that charm, you may be able to get a drive in some of the other visitors with their special cars. After that, the crew will take you for a bit of photos around various spots like the Tokyo tower. What a memorable experience, especially at night, even on an off peak day such as Monday, can't imagine a Friday/Saturday night here! Thank you for the unforgettable memoriesWritten July 11, 2024
- monsieurm1980 contributionsMost amazing experience that any car lover can have.Amazing tour with Hitomi, she was an amazing and really enthusiastic guide. It was an amazing ride together with the other GTR’s and later even more cars. The music in the car by Hitomi was also on point and really good, we even got to play our own songs!Written June 8, 2024
- S7837YNjennifera0 contributionsHusband approvedFrom the revs to the drift & everything in between , this tour has been the best if not the best experiences we had in Tokyo! Nero was great in touring us & bringing the fast & the furious experience to life ! He is quite a driver with great handle of the GTR 35! He was quite patient as we got lost in navigating Tokyo’s train system on our meet up point. From Daikoku to Tokyo Bay, my husband was in heaven drift . Kurt was far more accommodating as he went above & beyond in dropping us off to our hotel making sure we made it back to the hotel safely . This tour is husband approved and he claims as his Best. Birthday-gift. Ever.Written May 27, 2024

Our guide Nikkolas was nice but he was late and didn’t really say much to us except the return time for the meet up at each location. He provided more of a city tour along the way to his front seat female passenger, whom he knew, than to us. Lots of awesome cars to video and take photos of but no drifting. Just cars revving up their engines at times. The cops closed down the parking lot after one hour of being there. The drifting is what we wanted to see most. A taxi to the parking lots would have provided us the same experience (walk around freely for 2 hours) for way cheaper. I’m sorry but I expected more for the amount of money I was charged.

Bella came to pick us up at the meeting point.
From there we had a great race until a first visit point, where we could see the first cars that will accompany us all evening 🚀
We were able to enjoy a coffee and a little night shopping in a nice shop next to the biggest tire store in Tokyo.
Then it’s off, the evening begins we follow GTRs and other street cars on the highway to the parking lot via Rainbow Bridge.
It is already a show, they stand out because they are remarkable.
They tease each other.
Arriving in Daikoku, it is a real dream at Tokyo Drift.
We have a great time on site and enjoy all types of vehicles (Japanese, American, German, supercar, street car, van, motorcycle, or other atypical vehicles).
Very good atmosphere on site, nice people.
There is a little Lawson if you want to enjoy a little break.
There is an option offered for a ride on the highway ramps in the GTRs as a passenger.
After an hour on the spot we go back on the road the show continues 😎
To finish the tour, we pass near the Tokyo Tour 🗼
With an exclusive and amazing spot for photos 😉
Early 7:30 pm, drop us off at around 11 pm/ 11:30 pm.
Bella was super nice and funny.
Very good advice for the event and with a super adapted ride 😉
She even offered us a final shoot at the foot of the Tokyo Tour.
I highly recommend, it is a must 🔥 🇯🇵

Amazing experience for anyone into any kind of car scene. Daikoku PA is mainly JDM cars but there are some hidden Euro cars that pop up occasionally.
Anderson our driver was a top guy and just full of energy. The tour itself was pretty much as good as it can be, quick blast up to Autobacs Shinonome to browse the wide variety of parts. I even managed to pick up some Mugen parts for my JDM Accord back at home. Normally these would cost me double sometimes triple the price I paid for them here. After Autobacs we headed straight over to Daikoku PA. Daikoku was shut down earlier than expected on our night but that's to be expected with these types of events.
Afterwards we were dropped off at our hotels so it was nice not having to worry about public transport for once.

The event had extremely poor planning. I arrived well ahead of scheduled departure, our group departed for the first agenda location then got stopped by event coordinator. We were almost at the first location when the coordinator thought we had someone in our vehicle that was supposed to be at another location. We'd driven almost the entire way to the first agenda location, then got turned around to go the opposite direction. The reason we were diverted was because supposedly someone in our group was supposed to be getting a ride in a GTR somewhere else. After we got halfway to the other location, they found out it wasn't actually a person in our group.
Wasted nearly half the trip driving in traffic two different directions because they could not figure out the agenda and who was supposed to be where. Don't bother booking with this group, they are extremely disorganized and dysfunctional. They wouldn't even consider compensating me for a part of the booking even though my group was only able to go to 1 of the 3 scheduled agenda locations. They try to blame it on traffic and that it wasn't their fault, but the reason we is really lack of organization and management. Overpriced and 100 percent not worth the time.

booked this tour a month in advance and booked it for a friday
but on thursday the day before the tour they reached out saying the parking lot was closed for the day and if i wanted to reschedule for sunday or get a refund
which i understand it’s out of their control when the parking lot closes but it was one of the things i wanted to do most in japan. being it my first time there so i decided to reschedule for sunday like they suggested. they confirmed the rescheduling, the date and time said it was all good *
come sunday i message them an hour before the scheduled pick up time saying I was on my way and asking in what car will they be picking me up
no answer
waited in the pick up spot for 2+ hours as well as messaging them and emailing them several times and still no answer
decided to leave after wasting my time just waiting for an answer and sent them a last message asking for a refund
till this day. more than a month after they still haven’t answered any of my emails or messages not even to apologize
had to contact trip advisor customer service in order to get my refund
Terrible experience don’t recommend to anyone.

I only selected this as I didn't have a car hired for this trip & really wanted to see the cars. We didn't end up going to Tatsumi parking lot & we weren't actually told why we didn't get to go there. I only realised that was missed when I returned looking at my itinerary. The PIT Autobac was also a little disappointing. It didn't even stock standard Honda items which I wanted to purchase to take back to Sydney & surprisingly they had loads of TESLA items there which I found odd. We got to Daikoku & although the vibe was exciting & seeing the cars that turned up, I was surprised at how quiet it was throughout the parking lot. Not that I was expecting a rave, but some sort of atmosphere would've made the experience a little more real I suppose. Also the selection of cars out that night weren't that far & wide. We had our JDM cars turn up & I was extremely impressed to see 2 lady drivers! I had trouble booking the car ride when I made my booking but was happy to get photos either way. I think the lady drivers made the atmosphere that night in my opinion.
Our guide was efficient but I think wasn't too prepared on his group, there were only 4 of us & he didn't seem to know who had booked what. If we hadn't scoped out the JDM cars that were there for our photo op we would've missed out. Suggest that the guide was equipped on who had paid for what & ensured his group were aware of which cars were part of the package.
Either way, I was surprised it included the return trip to my AirBnB which was fabulous as it was almost 11pm when I got back to my family. I recommend & hope when you book there are more cars for happy viewing.

Not worth your money. Felt like we got scammed in the description it said picked up in a GTR-35 and after booking it went it to detail saying we’re riding around in a van with other people. It felt like an Uber ride and it didn’t matter what language the guide spoke because he did not speak or guide. Only had an hour at the car meet and 30 min for shopping. Did not even stop at Tokyo tower or anywhere else. Save your money!! Go with a different company there is nothing “immersive” about it. I want some type of refund it was not worth $170 would pay most $70 due to the driving. They scammed us good.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points regarding your concerns.
Our tour description clearly states that transportation is provided in a van to accommodate groups comfortably, and the Nissan GT-R R35 is not mentioned as the vehicle used for this specific tour. We always strive to provide accurate and transparent information to ensure our customers know what to expect.
Additionally, as a courtesy, you were able to experience the tour free of charge, which we offered in good faith. Despite this, we are disappointed to hear that the experience did not meet your standards. The itinerary, including the car meet and shopping stop, is carefully planned to provide a unique and enjoyable glimpse into local car culture.
While we appreciate constructive feedback, we believe your review may have been influenced by an initial misunderstanding about the tour details. That said, we are always working to improve and would love the opportunity to welcome you again with a more tailored experience.
Thank you for understanding

Experience booked on Instagram thanks to the tempting posts made on the networks. I contacted Samir GaijinTuned and the main GaijinTuned account for an immersive evening in the “Daikoku underground” in an R34 as a “silver Plus member” (40,000 yen paid by Paypal… That’s a lot of manga figurines) for Friday, November 22 in the evening. I was given a meeting point in Akihabara. I got there early to make sure I didn’t miss the appointment. Once there, drivers arrived and started scanning their list on their phones. One of them approached me and what a surprise it was that my name wasn’t on their list. He made a phone call and told me that the vehicle was not available. I contact the main Gaijin Tuned account on Instagram who gives me the classic "we're sorry, we can reschedule it for you", while I had mentioned at the very beginning of the conversation that it was my last night in Tokyo. Still waiting for the refund. A word of advice, save yourself a disappointment for your stay in Japan, there are many other experiences to live much more pleasant like going to a party, doing karaoke, seeing a sumo fight, onsens, eating at an authentic sushi master, visit other cities... They promise you a great program with a membership system, but it's just a good scam like ufo catchers or pachinkos. Gaijin Tuned, move on.

We appreciate all feedback from our customers, as it helps us improve and ensure a better experience for everyone. However, it is important to clarify certain points raised in recent feedback to maintain transparency and uphold our reputation.
Regarding the claim of a booking for an R34 Skyline:
1. Tour Description Misunderstanding:
• Our promotional materials and tour descriptions do not guarantee the use of an R34 Skyline. The images shared in our posts are meant to showcase the general atmosphere of the “Daikoku Underground” experience and not a specific car allocation.
• Our tour offerings are clearly stated in the description, and no promise of an R34 was made in this booking.
2. Booking Confirmation:
• The booking was made for our standard package, not for the premium GT-R 35 experience.
• Unfortunately, the customer’s name did not appear on the confirmed list due to an incomplete payment process or a misunderstanding during the booking.
3. Efforts to Rectify the Situation:
• Upon discovering the issue, we offered to reschedule the tour as a gesture of goodwill. However, the client declined due to their limited time in Tokyo.
• Our refund process was initiated per our policy and is currently in progress.
4. Allegation of a Scam:
• We reject any allegations of dishonesty or unethical practices. GaijinTuned has successfully served numerous satisfied customers and prides itself on delivering high-quality, authentic automotive experiences in Japan.
• We take these accusations seriously and are committed to ensuring the accuracy and transparency of our services.
To Our Community:
We encourage all clients to carefully review our tour descriptions before booking and to communicate any specific preferences in advance. This ensures clarity and avoids misunderstandings. We are always here to address concerns and work towards a resolution when issues arise.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Best regards,

We arrived at the meet up location at 5 pm. We tried to email the trip coordinator at 5 PM to see if we were in the correct location and we did not get a response. When we checked in with the gentleman he sent us two streets over and told us that there was going to be a car over there waiting to take us to the tour, however, there was no car at the second street over so we walked back and by this time multiple people had checked in. He then stated that there was not gonna be enough cars “van“ to take us on the tour. we had scheduled a car. One gentleman scheduled a GTR arrived. He had to reschedule which there were still no GTR for him to take. He then stated that we would have to reschedule. However, I leave. Tokyo the next day, and was unable to reschedule. They then told us that there was a car meet that we could go attend across the street. Multiple people had been rescheduled and told to come back the next day. We were one of the first people to check in and then we were the last people to have to wait for a van that“might come”. The driver stated “if the van does not come, you can request a refund”. The driver then stated that he has multiple companies that he answers to. And he apologized, an apology does not fix the disorganize way of managing a business. One of the drivers gave us the “owners information,” which was the same gentleman The told us he was not the owner. he then stopped answering our phone calls and WhatsApp messages.
This company is very unorganized, save yourself time and money, and do not book with them. Listen to the one star reviews not everyone has a great experience with this company. they are all for profit multiple over bookings are done.

If your really into cars then maybe this is a good tour for you?
We were under the impression that this tour was at least partially in a hot sports car but no its just in a van (it was a nicely appointed van)
Went to a shop to start with which was very ho-hum, I mean I can go to a car parts shop at home any time I want to.
We then went on to the Daikoku parking area to see a large variety of sports cars which was kind of interesting.
The drive back to the hotel was interesting for all the wrong reasons, suddenly our driver seemed to think he was driving a rally car rather than a people mover van making quite a few of our party quite anxious especially as he tailgated other cars getting far too close at excessive speed.
Expensive and I would never bother to do any car themed tour based on my experience but then again I don't really get the whole car thing.

Hi Danilo,
I only have a few hours layover but I want to do this tour. It looks like it’s about 5-6 hours long. Is there a way to work around it?
