K was superb & kind. We met a sunny day to enjoy beautiful view for Mt. Fuji and the view from cable car to Hakone was breathtaking.

    Great Experience
What a discipline and punctuality. Very organized! Our tour guide was friendly and awesome! The place is beautiful, and the times are good enough for everything on the schedule. I recommend this trip to everyone who wants to experience Mt. Fuji on a day or have no time to spare in the town.

Cute Tour Capturing the Spirit of Spirited Away
A nice, leisurely tour that makes for a good all-day activity when the rest of your vacation is jam packed with non-stop activities. Don’t bother eating breakfast cause the lunch buffet is part of the first stop on this tour. The food was pretty good and I really liked the Curry. There’s a bit of a spice to it so expect a small kick but not big. It has no meat too but if you want protein then you can simply combine it with the roasted beef steak they also provide. The Open-Air Architecture Museum was cool and relaxed, or maybe it was cause it rained that morning.. but it really did remind me of some of the places in Spirited Away and is definitely a bonus if you like Japanese history/culture in general. The last stop at the Museum was fantastic. They give you about 2.5 hrs to explore and it is more than enough time as the museum isn’t that big. We had plenty of time to explore everything and then relax at the cafe within the museum property. The museum can get really crowded though, especially the gift shop. But there is no set direction to go so you can always come back to things in any order. Very relaxed and cute tour. Our tour guide, Miki, was really nice and her English was very good. She filled the time traveling on the bus with useful tour guide information about each destination, so I was never bored. Great tour if you have a free day to dedicate to it and want something different from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. And it’s also a guaranteed entry into the Museum which is really hard to get tickets for!

Excellent Itinerary, Well Organized, Good Value
Well organized, friendly helpful staff, good value. Our guide, Shin, went out of his way to make sure that everything was going well, and offered many insights into Japanese culture and language.

    Well worth it!
Such a great trip! I only had a couple of days free and this tour gave me a wonderful taste of Japan outside of Tokyo. It was a lovely clear day so we were able to see the majestic Mt Fuji in all her glory. Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was a lot of fun taking several different modes of transport. I didn't take the lunch option but it looked very nice and others on the tour said it was enjoyable but not overly large.

    amazing day
We really enjoyed the day trip to Mount Fuji and Hakone, unfortunately due to avalanche risk, we were unable to venture to the 5th station, we took the lunch option and enjoyed the Japanese cuisine. Can recommend this trip and it was great value for money.

Great day out, the guide was friendly and the food was delicious. Great weather is also a deciding factor that makes the 5 stars.

Even with cloudy weather, a great tour
Despite the weather, the tour was overall enjoyable. There were still many sites to visit. The Lake Ashi Cruise had beautiful scenery and I took plenty of pictures, including the pirate ship. The tour ended by riding the Bullet Train back to Tokyo station. Highly recommend as a scenic trip outside of Tokyo.

Tour with flexible options if needed
Overall, this was a great experience, in fact the second time I have taken this tour. Keep in mind this tour will take up most of your day. Going on this tour during February can be a problem due to the weather. Fortunately, our trip was a little flexible, so I was able to wait for the best weather day and book for that. The weather turned out amazing with a clear sky for most of the day and amazing views of Mt Fuji. The weather leading up to our tour had been cold and as a result there was snow on most of Mt Fuji which meant we weren't able to get up to step 5 by bus, as planned by the tour. We were only able to get to step 1 on Mt Fuji, but we could still say we stood on the mountain. In addition, the tour group were able to quickly scramble and came up with two other locations for us visit to make up for the disappointment of not being able to get up to step 5. On this tour the alternative locations were on a lake with a clear view of Mt Fuji as well as a cable car ride up to the Sulphur vents which also had a great view of Mt Fuji on this day. I strongly recommend getting the lunch for this tour as well as taking the bullet train ride back to Tokyo because its much quicker and more comfortable than a bus.

    A Tourist view.
What made our trip to see Mt Fuji, was our outstanding tour guide from Sunrise Tours, he went above and beyond for every passenger on the bus. We rated this a 4 as we only got to go to Station 1 not Station 4 & it was a very clear day. An extremely well organised day & we loved the return journey on the. Bullet Train.

Great way to see Mt Fuji with cool boat ride, ropeway and bullet train.
Great experience with a well designed informed and pleasant guide. Spectacular views of Mt Fuji. Well planned stops for everyone’s comfort. Awesome to take the bullet train back. Also fun to take a boat ride and gondola.

    Very little hiking - GOOD!
An iconic mountain worth the visit. We are old and tired of hiking, so this was an easy welcome tour. It crowded a lot into the time given. The best part was guick easy access without having to hike from location to location, or even train to bus stop to location.

Not really a restaurant, lots of stairs down to the basement seating and show with trays if you preorder the fast food. Can buy drinks and snacks from your seat. Very noisy and not suitable for young children or epileptics.a lot of marketing but not really a must see.

Thank you for purchasing the Robot Show tickets at Robot Restaurant through us, JTB. As you pointed out, we understand the Robot stage show with neon lights, very noisy sound, lot of stairs are not suitable for young children or epileptics or physically challenged persons. So, we think it’s necessary for us to provide more detailed information on the show so that customers can purchase the tickets without worrying. Thank you again for your honest opinion.

Very odd and interesting you can't experience anywhere else. Eat before and drink before you go is a great suggestion. Seating in tight and you will enjoy yourself someplace else. BUT the show is really odd and you will love it.

Very difficult booking process, I would not recommend booking through Trip Advisor as they will sell tickets regardless of there availability. You may learn after purchasing that your booking has been declined by the operator even though you were charged. Surprisingly there seems to be no communication between Trip Advisor and the operator which is unfortunate.

WARNING if you book this tour, even though the Trip Advisor Website checks for availability and allows you to book and charges your credit card does not guarantee you have seats. According to the rep, the fine print interpreted their way says there is no guarantee.
We booked the night before and hours before the show got an email stating it could not be confirmed with bold red “REJECTED”. I spent 30 minutes getting ahold of my CC only to find nothing was rejected. In fact they had put a hold for the cost of the 4 tickets, which they will hold for 5-7 days and earn interest on my money.
With other plans all ready made we may miss this activity we all were looking forward to.
Bottom line Trip Advisor, if you say on your website you have checked availability, and sell a ticket, you create an expectation that when not met makes people unhappy and not want to use you anymore.

The show itself is loud, fun and bizarrely entertaining, but whoever runs it has no idea how to handle queues or how to treat customers. You get a ticket online, then get there 45 minutes early, after following the huge but confusing signs. Then you get another ticket and have to come back. Then you queue with prepaid ticket holders and people buying tickets. Then the new ticket is ignored and they ask for the online ticket again. Then you get the final tickets and a drink ticket. Then you get a ridiculously large ticket for your umbrella. Then you get ushered into a waiting room, where you get shown to a bar which doesn’t take the drink ticket. Then you get clumsily pointed to the another bar, where the barman points to a guy at a register who takes your drink ticket and gives you another ticket, to give to the barman who you originally went to. Then you get ushered to your seats, where you can buy drinks and popcorn, but you have to be quick or they shove a large amateur laminated sign in your face that tells you that you are too late. This whole ridiculous system soured the evening and made us feel like we were being treated with contempt. It could be done so much better and so much more efficiently.

Ok so first, there are NO robots! It was basically low quality drinks and show. A loud mess of neon and music. It feels somewhere between a rave and a bad dream. I can't believe this is one of the top attractions for Tokyo - maybe because tickets are sold on Viator (a TripAdvisor company)? Many people walked out of the show. We should have because it never got better. You may be asking, "Was it really that bad" and I tell you emphatically YES! If it was a $20 show - it MIGHT be worth it... if you're drunk!

This was an insane show. It was like a Japanese circus on ecstasy. From the giant robots to the over-done costumes to the spectacular singing and dancing, all of it was bizarre but so much fun. I definitely recommend this. Tickets aren't super expensive so don't expect a Cirque du Soleil show but it was impressive and I would watch this all over again. We ate dinner elsewhere so I don't vouch for the food. But the popcorn was tasty and other treats and drinks are available if you want. I agree with other posts: you don't need to arrive 40 minutes early to the show. Just be early enough to get tickets and settled in seating, 15-20 minutes should be fine. Also, I recommend not sitting in the front. The robots get REALLY close to audience members and that would have annoyed me to constantly duck out of the way.

High energy, over the top visuals and fun couple of hours. I wouldn’t recommend upgrading to first row, it’s a tiny venue and first row was too close and too low to see it as well as the back elevated rows. It was worth it.
