Overview
Eliminate the hassle of traveling to Mt. Fuji on this stress-free day trip from Tokyo. Keep boredom at bay with onboard Wi-Fi during a scenic bus journey to Mt. Fuji 5th Station and Komagatake Ropeway, for which all entrance fees are included. Plus you’ll enjoy a sightseeing cruise of Lake Ashi, part of Hakone National Park. Unlike many other Mt. Fuji tours, hotel pickup and a Japanese lunch are included.
What to Expect

Start your tour with a morning pickup from select Tokyo hotels. You’ll board an air-conditioned bus equipped with Wi-Fi for the drive to Mt. Fuji. During the journey, your guide provides interesting commentary that details the culture, history, and geology of the mountain.

Ascend to Mt. Fuji 5th Station to wander around Shinto shrines and take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. After a break for a traditional Japanese lunch, you’ll take a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi, part of Hakone National Park.

Your tour culminates with a visit to Komagatake Ropeway, one of Japan’s highest aerial tramways. On arrival at Mt. Komagatake’s scenic summit, you’ll have free time to explore.

The full-day tour concludes with drop-off at a central Tokyo location.

From the start, our tour guide Kumiko used every opportunity to give us very interesting background information about every landmark along the way. The Bus Trip was OK, although a bit longer because there was a traffic jam on the way out of Tokyo. We...More

Set aside the weather was cloudy and could not see anything but the tour schedule and operator were just as bad, probably one of the worst tours we have ever taken, spent 90% on the bus and rushed at each stop / point of interest....More

Time to visit is really up to you and your timeline. Trying to get a clear day with no rain and little pollution is the key, so checking out a long range weather forecast might be worth a try. We found winter was clearer in... More
