Serving the capital city of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) is the country's third-busiest airport, handling about 21.9 million passengers in 2014. It serves as a hub for Air Berlin, Eurowings and Germanwings, and a focus city for Condor, Germania, and TUIfly. Located about four miles north of downtown, Düsseldorf Airport has two runways and three inter-connected passenger terminals with a total of 35 gates.
