I've flown many times with this airline and am now resigned to getting average service at best. Check in was automated which I didn't know before hand. It took a few attempts to print out luggage tags as the machines worked beautifully till it got the "print" part, then stopped. Boarding was the usual chore mostly because those flying weren't...

Air Asia is a great value option for travelling throughout South East Asia or indeed to Australia. It has a number of major hubs that give an extensive network in the region. I use them frequently as not only do they deliver value but are clean, comfortable and have great staff. The main criticism would be that KLIA2, their Kuala...

I usually never fly on AirAsia, probably be the last. It's a 45min flight, we landed at 10:45pm, our bags came out at 11:20pm! Most airlines, domestic ones, you come out of your flight, and you probably wait for max 10 mins for your baggage!

When we went to check in they charged us $80 USD for our 2 very small bags. We planned on carrying them on, but apparently you can have only 1 bag. They almost didn’t even let me carry on my camera bag since it was over 7kg. The big problem was I bought the ticket on a 3rd party site...

I would not normally choose AirAsia but SIA flies direct to Luang Prabang (LP) only on certain days and the dates were not suitable. So we ended up taking AirAsia via Kuala Lumpur (KL). Flight there was uneventful but a lot of things went wrong on the return flight. The flight from LP to KL was delayed by a few...

Check in is complicated. Low fare meant no baggage allowance. They broke the handle of my new hard suitcase. I asked for compensation at Langkawi, but they siud only if my bag is insured, which it was not.

The most used airlines in south east Asia region. 95% of my flight in a year by Air Asia. Cheap, easy booking, easy boarding, online check in. Plan your trip ahead and enjoy extremely low fare. Flying from Bangkok to KL could even cheaper than driving from Bangkok to Pattaya.

I do not know how they receive best budget airline in the world but u only need to look at how much advertising money they have and you can guess how they get their award. Website is very un-user friendly and absolutely no customer service. They are not in the hospitality business but robbery. Unless like me I had not...
