Poor experience. Clearly cabin baggage is no longer aloud with full flights on this airline. Mandated that bags were checked even though the bags were within the size and weight limit. They also weighed each bag on the way in so beware of the 10kg limit. When we challenged to keep our bags the staff were rude. Do not fly with this airline.…

Flt# 1011 Thursday 3/14 at approximately 10:20a. First time flying on Tap airlines. Last row on the plane, but the flight attendants took FANTASTIC care of us! We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

I had several unpleasant cases with Tap airline. First resulted in missing the flight and they didn’t help with anything and second, - they completely destroyed my hand luggage by collecting it during boarding time without allowing to place it in cabin. It wasn’t oversized, it is just their tactic . Now I am dealing with company Dolfi from November as Tap referred me to them to ask for a luggage compensation. Initially I thought all goes smooth but despite purchasing a replacement luggage from their website at a discounted rate (I didn’t go for a free options) , I am disappointed to report that it has been over three months since the purchase, and I have yet to receive the item. Poor experience .. I had to buy a new luggage anyway due to my travels…

When I arrived at the gate I found that the flight was delayed. The app was telling me it was delayed an hour. The clerk at the booth in the gate told me I had to go back to customer service and gave a $15 voucher. I then went upstairs to the customer service. The clerk started talking to me in portuguese like I knew what he was saying. I told him to speak English but he would continue in his portuguese on and off. They told me the flight was delayed eight hours!!!! No email, no text, no call, not a care given. I asked then another agent wearing a red uniform why no alert was sent and why the agent had told me to go to customer service if they couldnt help. They then said ok come back in the morning to check in. Terrible customer service, I wish I would’ve known before booking with them.…

The flight is so-so. Not as good as bigger transatlantic providers but also not that bad. The problem is the app, website and customer service. Frequently the app says come back later. And if you try to use the website there is the 'this service is not available' message. I wanted to make a change to my flight. It was cheaper online than through customer service but the website was not working. Customer service told me to screen shot the problem and if indeed I could not buy it online they would match the online price. I did this and while they acknowledged the website was not usable they would not match the price. When I asked about a refund they could not tell me what amount would be refunded until after the refund was processed. Fairly incredible! Avoid this airline if you can.…
