NEVER AGAIN

Adelaide - Kochi (Cochin)International

The worst service of the past 30 years of my life. I purchased our tickets 8 months ago for myself and for my family for the 13th December, 2024, from Adelaide to Cochin and 48 hours before we were scheduled to leave, I got an email from this airline saying that our flight has rescheduled and that I'm supposed to stay in Kuala Lumper for 2 days for no reason collect all our luggage. Nobody helped us at KL to find the accommodation and food voucher. The flight landed at around 2230 and we got the room around 04:00 am the next morning. I stayed at the hotel for 2 days and flew to Cochin to reach on Monday at midnight. I was supposed to go to a marriage function on Saturday and Sunday. I lost both. Anyway this is my last journey with this stupid airline.

Charges a premium for budget airline service

Our family of 4 didn’t get the seats we payed for on either my outbound or return flight from Perth to KL. My teenage daughters were even seated on an exit row crew until we complained at the gate and crew found 2 people willing to swap. Seems like a newer plane but it had narrow seats and no in-built entertainment system - you have to connect to inflight system use your own device. We also had internal flights on MA to Langkawi that were rescheduled multiple times. When I asked for a refund so I could book on another airline with desirable times I was told I’d have to cancel my entire booking. All around disappointing. I could’ve paid half the price on Air Asia and received the same crappy service. I’d give them one star but we got to our destination safely so that’s gotta count for something.

Poor hospitality and accommodation

Worst airline. Noorazli was extremely rude (the head of staff apparently) and the entire crew were extremely rude and mean. What a shame that they introduce themselves by saying “the beginning of Malaysian hospitality” because the hospitality was terrible from boarding to landing.

good when its all according to schedule .. but staff do not know how to handle anything that is off schedule

changed my seat (which was PAID, not free) without informing me being thrown around from Manila Airport, to Kuala Lumpur airport to Penang Airport now i am trying to ask for refund - and being thrown around to different departments no standard at all .. but they are consistent about one thing - all over the people i approach regarding this issue are not apologetic at all none of them say "sorry for the inconvenience caused" but rather - "oh its caused by this and that, not by us, we are just counter not in charge of this" or "oh, you need to contact this/that department for this" even airasia will offer a refund in the form of credit for this mess up
