Review for Hawaiian Airlines Our recent experience with Hawaiian Airlines on November 3, 2024, at 6:00 a.m., was incredibly disappointing due to the rude and dismissive behavior of a senior staff member at the check-in counter. We were trying to add our underage son to our TSA PreCheck, which, according to the TSA website, should have been a straightforward process. However, when we approached the counter, a senior customer service agent was incredibly dismissive, refusing to even listen to our request. She cut us off immediately, rejected our concerns without even considering the TSA guidelines, and coldly referred us to the TSA counter. Her attitude was dismissive and arrogant, leaving us frustrated before our journey had even begun. Thankfully, Alana, another customer service agent, was helpful and apologetic. She genuinely tried to assist us and showed empathy for our situation. It was clear that Alana cared about our experience and wanted to help, but unfortunately, her senior colleague’s negative attitude overshadowed her efforts. After being sent to the TSA counter, we were told the same information that we had shown the senior agent from the TSA website—confirming that children are allowed to join their parents in PreCheck under certain conditions. But by then, we had wasted so much time that our son ended up having to stand in the very long, regular security line, adding unnecessary stress to an already early morning. This experience left us feeling disrespected and undervalued as customers. Hawaiian Airlines needs to know that while they have excellent agents like Alana, they also have senior staff members whose dismissive attitude can ruin a customer’s experience. We expected much better service at 6:00 a.m. when tensions were already high, and unfortunately, Hawaiian Airlines fell short of delivering it.…

The flight got delayed but the luggage’s taking so much too about 1 hour after the plane landed and still waiting. I will try not to use this airline again

I had to postpone my trip because my 9 month old grandaughter was having brain surgery for a tumor and they would not extend my time to rebook. My graddaughter is still receiving chemo therapy treatments and I am needed to help care for her3 year old sister. I get that they have levels of tickets to pay more for canceling or getting a refund but extending my time would cost them nothing and ensure my loyalty. They are heartless so I recommend choosing a different airline, it will be cheaper anyway.…

Their food is now terrible and also while at HNL I realized I had been double-billed for luggage. The person I spoke to said she could see it was true but couldn't help me and I would have to wait and call from home.

This was the most stressful and anxious travel day and airport experience I have ever experienced. It was going well until we got to the gate and they called some of my family members in Sydney for some reason when it was time for Pre-boarding which was strange. The flight was good and so were the crew. In Honolulu, they once again tried to separate me from my family just because of my assistance. The guy pushing me was arguing with my mom the entire time. He took us to a bus to a customs area that didn't even have global entry or at least signs for global entry. So we had to wait in a long line and I almost missed my flight to Los Angeles on the brand new Dreamliner. So yes the flights and crew were good but I don't think I can recommend them because of how poorly they treat the special needs community, unlike Singapore Airlines which did an amazing job and was way more accommodating towards special needs and wheelchair assistance when I flew to Australia. I love Hawaii but I would take Delta, Singapore Airlines, Qantas or anything else over Hawaiian Airlines unfortunately it's shameful how good flights and lounges can be ruined by the Airport Experience.…
