Good flight and lovely airplane. I was a little disappointed with the on board service, I was surprised that we did not get served breakfast towards the end of a 6 or so hour flight.

Lets start at the time of booking. I used a popular website to compare various flight options. Most airlines had cheaper offers to Christchurch but only Air New Zealand operated a direct flight. Sitting on an airport with two tired teenagers is not my idea of an holiday and I decided to pay the premium for the direct flight. Onto...

Staff were courteous and professional. Plane was clean and well kept. everything cost extra, so if you didn't pay for a meal, you will not be getting anything, even on a long flight.

We flew business class from Houston, Texas to Auckland, New Zealand (and return) on Air New Zealand. Their Boeing 787 business class is laid out with 9 rows of 3 seats which convert into flat beds. The flight attendants are totally professional and absolutely personable; it was a pleasure to fly on this airline. The food was fabulous and the...

I was surprised with this airline. The seats have more room than usual, very confortable and the service provided by the airline was amazing. Lots of entertainment on board with the screen above average size and the crew was super friendly. Overall i recommend this airline, at least economy wise is the beast experience i'v ever had (compared with British,...

Traveled with a family of five on Air NZ 777. We upgraded to the Premium Economy package. Seriously cant go back to economy. Seat sizes, legroom, service were excellent. Breakfast was a little ordinary but of a good standard for airline food. Will only use Air NZ now for trans tasman flights you really cant get better staff. Inflight entertainment...

Normally I enjoy this airline very but im guessing that was clouded by me being a proud kiwi .. My main disappointment was how little service you get in economy ..Now you order food and drink via the in-flight entertainment screen unless you have it included in your fare ..this service does not open until 40 mins after take off...

Although a shořt flight Air NZ staff are always very accomodating and friendly. This goes for the ground staff as well. Yet to have a bad experience with this airline and I have been travelling with them for 30 odd years.

We travel to Sydney often and Air New Zealand has good fares; flying them does require a stop in Auckland, NZ which makes the trip longer. The domestic part of the trip was operated by United which was a good experience. The Air NZ part, from Houston to Auckland, was great; nice attendants, good food, and great in-flight choices for...
