This was without doubt the worst plane experience we have had.....and we have been travelling for 50 years. The amount of leg-room in Row 16 just MUST have been illegal! We are quite slim, both of us, yet it was almost impossible to squeeze into our seats at all. In addition, I was in the middle of 3 seats and...

As with the four other Virgin flights on this trip the flight was late. This time by 50 minutes. Virgin didn't notify us, but "Trip Case" did. The plane was a reasonably new 737, but it didn't have foot rests. The service provided by the purser and cabin attendant in our cabin did a brilliant job. Their attractiveness and thoughtfulness...

On checking in online we found our seats that were up the front of the plane had been moved and we were not sitting together luckily I found 2 empty seats that were together so I moved our seats which had to be at the very back of the plane. When we got on we both found the seats the...

This airline was pretty good, I flew with it from Sydney to Ayers Rock, the flight was comfortable and relaxing. For short flights (1-4 hrs) this was good quality and service. There are good TV and movies but you have to download an app before you board the plane to get free tv and movies.

Flying from Gold Coast to Auckland was simple, comfortable and clean. The service was on time. The staff on board were excellent. Two pieces of advice: 1. Be aware that Australian security at the airports are very cautious and will check everything, including the inside of your umbrella! 2. Put the Virgin entertainment App on your iPad before you get...

My wife and I flew from Cairns, AUS to Queenstown, New Zealand a few days ago. This was our first time flying Virgin Australia, and the experience was phenomenal. We flew business class, and the flight crew was amazing. They took such good care of us, and just really made us feel like a valued part of the Virgin Australia...

This was the return leg of my flight. My recommendation when flying Virgin is to pay a little extra for extra legroom but avoid the exit row seats. The exit row seats don't allow you to have your bag under the seat in front which can be an inconvenience. Get the extra leg room seats that aren't exit rows instead.

I found the staff excellent. However, I chose the beef. It was a good job the flight was over three hours because that's how long it took me to chew the gristle. Had to get a tooth pick to remove pieces when I got to my hotel!!
