I recently traveled with Philippines AirAsia from Cebu to Narita with a connecting flight in Manila, and I was deeply disappointed with the experience. Firstly, our flight from Cebu was delayed by three hours, which left us with barely any time to transfer from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 at NAIA. Upon arriving at Terminal 3, we were shocked to find no clear signs for the transfer buses. We had to ask several airport staff, who eventually directed us to some white vans at Bay 10.To our dismay, we were charged PHP 1,650 for a transfer that typically costs only PHP 300. This excessive charge felt like blatant exploitation, especially as it was our only option given the time constraints. Additionally, upon arriving at Terminal 2, we faced another challenge: finding our gate. We were not informed of our gate during check-in, and the flight information was displayed on a small TV screen tucked away in a corner of the terminal, making it very difficult to find. More display screens in Terminal 2 would greatly help in making the process smoother. What concerns me most is that AirAsia’s delay was the primary reason for our rushed transfer. They should have taken responsibility for facilitating a smoother transfer, but instead, we were left struggling. The lack of support, coupled with the exorbitant transfer fees, reflects poorly on both AirAsia and the NAIA experience.…
