Read up about the locations whereby smoking & vaping is allowed , very carefully.

It does not mean a particular location is a legally allowed Designated Smoking Area even if locals are smoking at that particular location.

They could just be taking a risk that will not be caught by enforcement officials.

I saw some locals or foreigners flunking the No Smoking laws everywhere & they are mostly in smaller backstreets or behind pillars or some trees.

Don't follow them to flunk the laws as it is stupid to be caught & fined as a tourist...

Signboards are displayed at areas where they are allowed.

Normally shopping malls , hotels , restaurants , cafes will have a Designated Smoking Area..

I chew more gum & smoke less while i'm here...

The Philippines is one of the fastest emerging markets when it comes to Vaping. Though there are some restrictions now being put up by the government. Some shops still allow vaping inside their stores to accommodate vapers like us. Here are some places of I shop I frequently go to key cities in Manila, Philippines

https://ejuice.ph/pages/vape-shop-cubao/ - Vape Warehouse Cubao - a Vape Shop in Quezon City, near Araneta Center.

https://ejuice.ph/pages/vape-shop-pasig - Vape Warehouse Kapitolyo Pasig - a Vape Shop in Kapitolyo Pasig near Capitol Common.

https://ejuice.ph/pages/vape-shop-makati Vape Warehouse Makati - a Vape Shop in Makati at the Makati CBD area.

https://ejuice.ph/pages/vape-shop-greenhills Vape Warehouse Greenhills San Juan - a Vape Shop in Greenhills San Juan at Wilson Street

https://ejuice.ph/pages/vape-shop-in-eastwood-libis-quezon-city Vape Warehouse Eastwood Libis - a Vape Shop at Eastwood City.

Hey! How was your trip? Did you end up bringing your vape and juice? How was customs? Did they confiscate them? Thanks!

I would search more up to date threads than this one.

Since December vaping and importing e cigs has become illegal.

Do not rely on old answers or on anyone's experience before the change in the law

Since the Presidential decree was implemented in Dec 2019 , the import, possession, use, advertising of vape related products is illegal and subject to serious penalties.

I believe only Indonesia remains legal at present in SE Asia for nicotine vaping products but that is expected also to become illegal from March this year.

You have no problems with customs as like in most countries there is a green channel that you walk through if you have nothing to declare however if you do try and smuggle it in and get caught you will be arrested, remanded it custody, have to pay a fortune in lawyers fees jailed then deported.

The good news is people do manage to smoke cigarettes but not in bars as a rule and the better news is if you are vaping to give up because the Philippines is a smoking unfriendly kind of place it's a lot easier to give up.The only people whom I do see smoking now seem to be bar girls and their Korean clients.
